No Cross For You

On a heads up from a coworker, an article describing a lawsuit filed against Catholic University.
A professor from George Washington University, claims that Muslim students are "particularly offended" by the campus cathedral.
The complaint was filed by John Banzhaf, an attorney and professor at George Washington University Law School. Banzhaf has been involved in previous litigation against the school involving the same-sex residence halls. He also alleged in his complaint involving Muslim students that women at the university were being discriminated against.
Banzhaf said some Muslim students were particularly offended because they had to meditate in the school's chapels "and at the cathedral that looms over the entire campus - the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception."
Let me get this straight, a prospective student wishes to get an education in American. He puts aside is religious beliefs, and CHOOSES to attend a private school that has a religious origin. Then he or she finds it offensive that symbols of the religious origin are present. So he or she finds a lawyer with a contentious history opposing Catholic U and charges that these symbols constitute a Human Rights violation. Isn't that precious.

Anarchist Fratricide

The web site Gateway Pundit carries an article describing how a lawsuit has been filed because accounts have been pilfered.
What would you expect when you bring together people who believe that property is communal.
By their standards if the needs the money they should have it.
Who would steal money unless that had to have it?
It is only logical that anarchist would approve of such an action.
Anyway there are a bunch of pissed off tarp people, pissed off enough to make death threats.

MegaVote: GA 13th, 10/24/2011

Another week, another update from our Congress.  Comments to be added in blue within the body text.
Congress.org (congress.org) presents:  M E G A V O T E  October 24, 2011

In this MegaVote for Georgia's 13th Congressional District:

Recent Congressional Votes -
* Senate: Confirmation of John Edgar Bryson to be Secretary of Commerce
* Senate: Teachers and First Responders Back to Work Act of 2011
* Senate: Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2012

Upcoming Congressional Bills -  * House: Internal Revenue Code  A vote on taxe withholdings paid by goverment contractors, do you think that vote is going to break towards the contractors or the IRS.  Pick em.

Editor's Note:   The Senate is in recess this week.  Good, the less Harry Reid in in action the less damage he can foster.
Recent Senate Votes:
Confirmation of John Edgar Bryson to be Secretary of Commerce
http://capwiz.com/congressorg/issues/votes/?votenum=176&chamber=S&congress=1121
Vote Confirmed (74-26)
The Senate confirmed John Bryson as Secretary of Commerce.  Bryson succeeds Gary Locke, who is now the ambassador to China.  What the heck does the Department of Commerce do anyway?  DOC does not do anything that I can think of that germinates new business or protect existing business.  They are probably involved in NAFTA shit but in the end the real policies are determined by the politicians who have their thumb stuck in the air checking to see which way the wind is blowing.  I am for not confirming any new employees for the department and like DOE total obliteration DOC.  The votes by our two Republican Senators hardly matter, the DOC harldy matters.
Sen. Saxby Chambliss voted  YES
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted  YES
Teachers and First Responders Back to Work Act of 2011
http://capwiz.com/congressorg/issues/votes/?votenum=177&chamber=S&congress=1121
Vote Rejected (50-50)
Last week the Senate rejected consideration of this bill that would allocate $30 billion in grants to state and local governments to pay to hire or retain teachers and $5 billion in grants to governments and other groups to pay for law enforcement officers and emergency personnel. This was one component of the presidents broader jobs bill that was rejected earlier in the month.   Reid tried slip some of the the POTUS's un-jobs bill in there, got stonewalled.  I think the term is GIGO, garbage in = garbage out.
Sen. Saxby Chambliss voted  NO
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted   NO
Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2012
http://capwiz.com/congressorg/issues/votes/?votenum=187&chamber=S&congress=1121
Vote Agreed to (82-16, 2 Not Voting)  I guess they did not want to talk about it any more, the 2 are probably from farm states that agree with the bill but don;t want to be on the record for it.
The Senate reached the necessary 60 votes to end debate on a legislative package that combines the fiscal 2012 Agriculture, Commerce-Justice-Science (S 1572) and Transportation-HUD (S 1596) appropriations bills. When they return from a weeklong recess, senators will resume consideration of the bill.
Sen. Saxby Chambliss voted  NO  Chambliss is an unabashed supporter of Georgia farmers, I don't like it but at least he is consistent.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted  YES

Upcoming Votes:
Internal Revenue Code - H.R.674
The House is scheduled to vote this week on a bill to repeal a 3 percent withholding requirement on government contractor payments.

Spooky

I saw a fortune teller the other day.
She told me I would come into some money.
Last night I fucked a girl called Penny, is that spooky or what?

I Dream of The Rose of Alabamy

This trip they promised to Alabama last week, the descriptions and bias are no less skewed than those they describe. Comments will be inserted in blue.

Hi DREAM Supporter
Well Alabama is definitely a different place. By different, do you mean a place where citizens expect law enforcement to enforce the law?  When we first arrived almost a week ago we were assured by many local advocates that ICE was different here, 'ICE isn't detaining folks here.' I wonder who might have said that, maybe a member of the Dream Police?  We stepped out of Birmingham and it is a different story. We have not been able to go a day without hearing of someone who has been harassed by local police or detained by ICE.
Take Christian for example, he is 17 years-old. Instead of spending the last month in high-school he has been locked up in the local jail. His crime? Being brown and from Mexico. Apparently, though our author does not say it Cristian is an illegal alien.  He was initially arrested after a routine traffic stop and sent to jail. Thankfully he was released, however the officer wasn't satisfied. I would big to differ, when Christian was initially detained he was processed by the system and released.  Three days later while Christian was taking his girlfriend to the rodeo the same officer saw him, "why are you here, you should have been in Mexico by now!"  So the officer acts as he is bound by law, and is surprised to learn that an illegal alien has been set free.  I would express disappointment as well, and an expectation that the law be enforced is not evidence of racism or a subversive coalition against "freedom" of illegal aliens to travel where ever the hell they feel like.
The officer re-arrested Christian and he has spent the last month in jail. Christian's family was told ICE would be detaining him today. Tough break dude, but you are an illegal alien who was discovered by routine traffic infraction.   We need your support to make sure ICE stay's clear of Christian, make a call to John Morton's office and demand ICE not detain Christian.  I will call, if you want, but I am going to suggest you check out where the rest of Christian's family is.
"Hi, I am calling to demand that ICE officials not detain Christian Edgar Luna from the Jefferson County Jail in Alabama. Christian is only 17 and is DREAM Act eligible. Christian was racially profiled, why are ICE agents supporting this behavior?"  Duh, maybe because it is the law?
There is a lot of work to do here in Alabama. The normal isn't at play her in Alabama, here the policies being put in place are trying to drive out the Latino community through attrition. Basically, 'let's make life so difficult for people that they just get up and leave.' Obeying the law is so difficult for people used to being allowed to reside illegally without concern for deportation.  Schools may no longer be allowed to check the status of students but that doesn't stop other students from constantly asking the 'brown' students for papers.  While we are at it, why should people have to present papers to be allowed to vote?  After all these illegal aliens expect other rights granted to citizens, why not the whole scope?
The climate created here in Alabama is a very dangerous one. Let's stop Christian from being detained by ICE so we can get to work on other cases.  Ship him back to Mexico, Christian is a proven illegal alien.
Thanks for your call and your continued support!
Much love,
Mohammad Abdollahi Co-founder of DreamActivist.org

Magic Sandals

A married couple were on holiday in Jamaica .
They were touring around the market-place looking at the goods and such, when they passed a small sandal shop.
From inside they heard the shopkeeper with a Jamaican accent say,
'You foreigners! Come in. Come into my humble shop.'
So the married couple walked in.
The Jamaican said to them,
'I 'ave some special sandals I tink you would be interested in. Dey makes you wild at sex.'
Well, the wife was really interested in buying the sandals after what the man claimed, but her husband felt he really didn't need them, being the Sex God that he was.
The husband asked the man,
'How could sandals make you a sex freak?'
The Jamaican replied,
'Just try dem on, Mon.'
Well, the husband, after some badgering from his wife, finally gave in and tried them on.
As soon as he slipped them onto his feet, he got this wild look in his eyes, something his wife hadn't seen before!!
In the blink of an eye, the husband grabbed the Jamaican, bent him over the table, yanked down his pants, ripped down his own pants, and grabbed a firm hold of the Jamaican's thighs.
The Jamaican began screaming:
'You got dem on de wrong feet!'

The ANT and the GRASSHOPPER

An email from a friend, Two Versions ... Two Morals.
OLD VERSION
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE OLD STORY:
Be responsible for yourself!
MODERN VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat and the rain all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving.
CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.
America is stunned by the sharp contrast.
How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah
with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green...'
ACORN stages a demonstration in front of the ants' house where the news stations film the SEIU group singing, We shall overcome.
Then Rev. Jeremiah Wright has the group kneel down to pray for the grasshopper's sake, while he damns the ants.
President Obama condemns the ant and blames President Bush 43, President Bush 41, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the Pope for the grasshopper's plight.
Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.
Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.
The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number
of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the grasshopper.
The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it.
The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again. The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous and peaceful, neighborhood.
The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.
MORAL OF THE STORY:
Be careful how you vote in 2012.
I've sent this to you because I believe that you are an ant not a grasshopper!
Make sure that you pass this on to other ants.
Don't bother sending it on to any grasshoppers because they wouldn't understand it, anyway

61% Favor Simpler Tax Code, But Have Doubts About Flat Tax Plans

I believe that elected politicians fear Flat Tax and alternatives because it removes their freedom to use revenue for vote buying.
For the last 80 years, starting with Roosevelt and Keynes, the government has been in the mode of spending borrowed money to stimulate economies without plausible evidence that it is effective. The only things are measurable are the human needs, this is the money that is spent and the queue for money hoped for application. The needs of humans are ever expanding, humans will take whatever is given to them regardless of cost to community.
The victim, tax payers, including business.

As candidates, Democrats and Republicans alike, defile tax revisions as a way of demonizing opponents.
This is plainly apparent in the way brother Republicans are treating Herman's 999.
Instill doubt in the voter with regards to your opponent and reap the benefits of negative campaigning.
The victim, tax payers, the capacity for change is crippled, we are stuck with trying to modify a system that at its core is corrupt.
Garbage in yields garbage out.

I do not believe in abolishing the IRS. Tax collectors have been the tagged as evil since the beginning of time, but they are necessary because there are always people who seek to avoid paying taxes. I do believe that there needs to be a tax system reset and I believe that the simpler the system, the more transparent the actions and intents of politicians will be.

The Dream Police are Inside of My Head

Not really, but they are about to visit Alabama. Received another email from the fearless aka illegal alien organizer Kemi Bello in which is made the promise that they are going to Alabama to fight the enduring racists. The following text is copied from email shown in black, I will just insert my comments in blue.
Hi DREAM Supporter I do not qualify as a supporter, just a man who tries to keep abreast of anarchists.
Hate has never left Alabama. Not by the people I know, in fact I find folks from Alabama to be refreshing candid and friendly.  It reared its ugly head as the state went through the painful process of desegregation and mandatory enforcement of then recently enacted civil rights policies. No doubt, happened all across the south, Democrats ruled the land back then. It threatened to dampen the spirit of Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. as he was unjustly jailed in Birmingham. No argument.  That hate has been passed down a generation not conceding the bequest, it is really more like two generations, and now lives in the heads and hands of nativists citizens and anti-immigrant legislators elected citizens in the state, who secured the passage of HB 56 legal legislation, openly drawing a new bull’s-eye on the illegal immigrant community of Alabama.
DreamActivist.org Hosts National Youth Convening in Alabama: Help Us Get There Here is a plea for money and I though these undocumented Democrats worked for next to nothing.
Hate, however, is not Alabama’s only wound. Its deceiving where is the deception, the law is not ambiguous the intent is not hidden and more-accepted cousin complacency is what continues to foster an environment that allows such hate to continue to thrive. Complacency aka conservative activism now plagues the Democratic Party not in control here, who purports to politically fight for the rights citizens have rights enumerated by the constitution, illegal aliens are subject to the legislative actions of government and advancement of the immigrant community aka acceptance of more illegal . Yet that which they claim as victories – President Clinton’s passage of the Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996, President Obama’s record-setting cool million + deportations in 3 years, and DHS Secretary Napolitano’s aka flip flop politician from Arizona insistence on undocumented youth being low-priority for deportations low priority does not mean not deportable – these ‘victories’ have torn apart immigrant communities across the United States, instilled in their hearts a deep fear of becoming victims being caught by law enforcement of injustice, and continue to separate families like that of Ramon Aguirre, deported less than a week ago when are they sending his parents home? .
Enough of the Hate - It's Time to Take the Fight to Alabama Hope you have your green card Kemi.
As undocumented immigrants we need to take a stand against hate and complacency aka due process of law. We have seen injustice leak out of Arizona, infect aka caused by disgust with the federal resistance to applying current law and is most common in those states most affected by the the illegal alien population the political process in D.C., and spread to Georgia, North and South Carolina and into other states. In the words of MLK, injustice anywhere is indeed a threat to justice everywhere. Each time, resistance has traveled to the heart of the wound, and together we have seen victories, but the time to resist from your own country please once again has never been clearer. Your $25 donation will help us get to Alabama nadda, nothing, butkis DreamActivist.org will be hosting a national youth little illegal aliens convening in Birmingham, Alabama on November 11th through the 16th. We expect well over 20 states to be represented and we are hoping you can help us make it happen. Please help us get there by donating $25 to our convening fund nadda, nothing, butkis.
DreamActivist.org is a completely volunteer run network, we receive little to no foundation money and depend fully on your support. As undocumented youth we will not tolerate hate and complacency anywhere.
Are you prepared to join us? nadda, nothing, butkis
Kemi Bello co-founder DreamActivist.org aka leading anarchist seeking to circumvent law
Thank you Kemi I really do enjoy getting these emails.

Fridge Could Care Less

A couple of weeks ago before the Georgia Tech vs. Maryland football game, Glenn Clark, a Baltimore radio host, interviewed former Maryland Head Coach and prior to that former Georgia Tech Offensive Coordinator Ralph Friedgen
Clark: Is it tough for you to watch? Have you sat down and watched any Maryland games or is it tough for you to do that? I know you love the kids, but I also know you're a Maryland alum, and it's got to be a little painful.
Friedgen: Well, it's not painful because I watch it for the kids. I could care less about Maryland. I've burned my diploma. I'm flying a Georgia Tech flag right now.
Clark: [laughing] That's hurtful. I don't want to hear that, Coach. I'm a Maryland alum.
We were very sorry to see Ralph leave Georgia Tech and I would have been happy to see him replace George O'Leary. Like many coaches, Friedgen speaks plainly. There can be little else inferred from the comments, Mr. Friedgen is not happy with the University of Maryland.

Wish we had a place for you Coach.

The comments are largely supportive.

Step Up The Deportations

Prerna may be a very nice person and deportation a terrible assault on her her family.
The legality or this lady's residency has been decided.
I wish Prerna no harm in her own homeland.

Harry Reid Didn't Save Ramon

No doubt, the family of Ramon Aguirre is devastated over his deportation. No doubt, Ramon Aguirre is feeling rejected by the country he thinks of as home.
That said, I have little doubt that the unmarried father of a four year old, was perfectly aware of the laws regarding his illegal residency, this evidenced by the fact that he was driving a vehicle without a driver's licence.  Ramon was in this country because his parents brought him here when he a boy himself, his parents are the ones who broke the law with intent.  Ramon only wanted to stay where he had grown up and lived.  I get it, I just do not agree that it makes him eligible for a pass.
My reaction to this is that the parents should be sought out and deported as well.
The screen shot suggests that Ramon will never be able to see his son Gabriel or common-law wife.  That is an UNTRUE statement, his family can go to Mexico with him.
After the screen shot above there are instructions for calling Senator Reid and Durbin, this is the script suggestion.
"Hi, I was calling to voice my disappointment at the Senator for refusing to help DREAMer Ramon Aguirre, he was deported to Mexico yesterday. I am really upset that the Senator is now refusing to help another DREAMer, Cesar Montoya (A#200-297-690). Cesar has been detained for two months now, his only criminal record is a driving without a license charge. He is DREAM Act eligible, why is the Senator not helping Cesar?"

I can answer for the Senators...
Because the Dream Act is not enacted federal legislation.  At its core the Dream Act is a politcal evasion tactic created by Democrats for sucking up to hispanic voters.  Because in the end illegal aliens, by law, are supposed to be deported.  If Ramon's parents hadn't illegally waded through the Rio Grande or climbed some chain link fence in the middle of a desert, so as to surreptitiously enter the United States, Ramon might be a happy young man with a family in Mexico.
Go find Ramon's parents, ship them home too.

Religion of Peace In the News

Blood and death in Cairo streets as Christians are attacked by thugs, police

All I need from you is a confidential assurance?

It can be difficult to resist letting flow a stream of obscenities when these are read. These letters can give you a feeling similar to that when you delete chain mail. What if there is a sliver of a chance that this is real, and that I, Susan's dearest friend, can be there for her?
That would be a sacrifice,
if I gave a crap.

Dearest Friend ,
I am Mrs. Susan Albertho from Netherlands, I am 58 years old, I am suffering from a long time cancer of the breast, from all indication my conditions is really deteriorating and it is quite obvious that I can't work or do any stressful thing, according to my doctors they have advised me that I may not live for the next two months, this is because the cancer stage has gotten to a very bad stage. I was brought up from a motherless babies home was married to my late husband for twenty years without a child.
My Husband (Roberto Albertho) died in a fatal motor accident before his death we were true Christians. Since his death I decided not to re-marry, I sold all my inherited belongings and deposited all the sum of $100 million dollars with a Security Company in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
Presently, this money is still with them and the management just wrote me as the true owner to come forward to receive the money for keeping it so long with attract a demurrage fees as the security fees paid by me has expired or rather issue a letter of authorization to somebody to receive it on my behalf since I can not come over because of my illness or they get it confiscated.
So instead of getting it confiscated I rather have someone whom I can trust to receive the funds and utilize it according to my wishes.
And the best part of it is, the security company told me in the letter that they can have the consignment funds released to my approved person that was authorized by me or transferred to his bank account and if outside Kuala Lumpur Malaysia then transferred to his or her bank account.
Presently, I am using my laptop in the hospital at Frankfurt Germany where I have been undergoing treatment for my sickness. I have since lost my ability to talk and my doctors have told me that I have only more 2 months to live.
It is my last wish to see at least 60% of this money is invested/donated to any organisation/buisness of your choice and distributed each year among the charity organization, e.g. the poor homes, the motherless babies home where I came from, the deaf homes, and churches etc.
All I seek for is a God fearing person like you ,who will carry out my last wishes and before I emailed you today I prayed and the holy spirit gave me the confidence to send you this email. I took this decision, before I rest in peace because my time will soon be up. As soon as I receive your reply I will give you the contact of the Security Company in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
Please send me the Below information

Charge the Mound

I see that Robin Ventura was named manager of the Chicago White Sox today. Cannot ever forget the fine third baseman as a young major leaguer charging Nolan on the mound. For his effort, getting knocked dizzy. Hope he is a better manager than he is a fighter.
Best wishes Ozzie.

Say You're Sorry

I have to admit that this had not occurred to me, but Dick Cheney hit the nail on the head in a CNN interview. Cheney said that President Obama owes an apology to the Bush administration for its criticism of handling of suspected terrorists, in light of the action taken just executed on Anwar al-Awlaki. They killed him, an American citizen.

Cheney then goes on to say that he agrees with the agrees with the aggressive actions applied, that they are proper treatment for an enemy with which you at war. I will repeat, he agrees with POTUS ordering the execution.

This discussion shines light the duplicitous set of standards used by the current executive branch. Criticize Bush 43 for treating battlefield captures as prisoners of war then approve the drone attacks on an enemy terrorist. Basically you suck for doing and I'm great for doing it.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/10/02/cheney-obama-owes-apology-for-security-criticism-of-bush-administration/?hpt=po_bn2

What really pleases me is the the ACLU is in a twist over the killing of this rat bastard. They are going to have to prove to the world that the Democrat Executive can ignore frivolous lawsuits as well as the Republican Executive.

I really miss Richard Cheney being our Vice President.
