Mail in the Box

Yesterday received an email from the White House. This was written by a young lady who in 2009 asked President Obama to protect the auto industry so that her father can remain employed.
"Dear President Obama,
My dad works for a company that manufactures cables for the automotive companies … This industry isn’t doing so well but these guys are still doing ok. I thought it would be nice if you gave them a visit … I am 13 years old and I am worried about my family’s future in Michigan."
The new letter in which this is encapsulated, follows with the comments...
That was then. Today, the company my dad works for is thriving again, giving him a brighter outlook to continue his career as an auto supplier. The falling unemployment rate makes me feel more hopeful about finding a career of my own after college. People in Michigan are more confident about the future of our state than they’ve felt in a long time.
When President Obama saved the auto industry, he gave Michiganders like me and my family hope again.
That’s why I’m so proud to see President Obama return to Detroit to talk about the resurgence of our manufacturing industry. Today at 3:25pm ET, tune in to watch his speech.
As a 13-year-old girl, I saw a few of my relatives get laid off from the automotive companies they worked for. I felt that it was unfair to them because I knew they were hard workers. Through overhearing my dad talk to customers and colleagues on the phone, I got a sense of just how much the entire industry was struggling then.
When I wrote to President Obama in 2009, I felt hopeful something could be done to improve this terrible situation.
Seven years after the President took steps to rescue the auto industry, so much has changed. I’ve seen foreclosed homes being occupied again, new homes being built, and people going back to work in the auto industry.
Today, President Obama will see firsthand the progress we’ve made here. In just a little bit, I'll be heading to see the President speak in downtown Detroit -- you can watch his speech at 3:25pm ET.
I’m proud to welcome him back to the Motor City.
Thanks,
Brianna

Now, in general I have no deep problems with this letter, it does include some references that suggest this was not written, at least entirely by Brianna Leathers.
The first yellow highlighted comment may very well have been written by our young lady, but I must argue that President Obama did not save the auto industry. What the President did do was illegally present GM capital that belonged to stockholders, to the UAW. Then he used government money to keep the General Motors afloat. Then the government repeatedly misled with poorly built statistics about the sales and profitability until market for car sales, buoyed by low gasoline prices, improved. The market for cars is good right now, and at some time it will turn for the worse, then back again. The President DID NOT SAVE THE AUTO INDUSTRY, he gave money taken from taxpayers and propped up struggling businesses until market conditions changed.  I will add that the greatest problem for General Motors was that GM Capital had issued credit to risky borrowers at the behest of a progressive government. GM Capital owned the bad that was sinking the GM ship.
In blue highlight there are references to scheduled speech in Detroit, this could not be know by an independent person writing a letter of appreciation to the President.
To end, the President Obama has been a successful politician, he has initiated and forced many liberal policies, that President Clinton could not. His political success is why he is universally distrusted by all on the right except the Republican aristocracy.  What he has not been, is a good leader of United States citizens, or as an effective leader of the free world. Letters such  as this lay claim to achievements not earned, much like the Nobel Peace Prize, and represent a lame attempt to burnish a legacy that, at the moment, parallels that of James Earl Carter.

Everyone is Conservative About What He Knows Best

That is a quotation by Robert Conquest, found in the internet after reading another of his quotations within an article on immigration problems being experienced in Germany.
Germany Just Can't Get It Right
The quotation was
"The simplest way to explain the behavior of any bureaucratic organization is to assume that it is controlled by a cabal of its enemies."
This quotation was applied as an explanation of the behavior of Chancellor Angela Merkel. The Chancellor remains committed to the acceptance of Muslim refugees at a current rate of  1,000 to 2,000 per day, despite growing citizen unrest, despite evidence of immediate social friction, despite evidence of immoral immigrant behavior, despite growing antisemitism and despite an felonious assaults of women. Basically, it does not make sense to allow the immigration to continue at such a fantastic rate, yet German government has covered its ears to the cries of its people.
Unrest in the citizenry of the United States has a similar tones, the government is acting on behalf of non-citizens against citizens.
In England, five years ago, in 2009, there was a couple prosecuted for debating Islam with a Muslim. A Muslim woman complained that she was offended during a discussion about whether Jesus was the son of God or just a minor prophet of Islam.
Free Speech is Dead in England
The case against Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang was dismissed but only after great expense to the municipality. During the trial, the senior Crown prosecutor, two policemen, including a detective chief inspector, were in court to testify against the accused. The case was investigated by the Merseyside specialist hate crime unit.
Breakfast Insult Case
Reading into that article it was indicated that complainant was a white convert to Islam. That in itself is remarkable because, with a leap of logic, this woman was raised in the English community and presumably was taught the principles of free speech, she should have understood the value of debate. Instead her Islamic teachings guided her actions, that arguments against Islam, and sources of, are to be vilified.
So, I go back to the quote that caught my attention. Governments across the western realm are acting in an illogical manner. They act as advocates for peoples that seek to at best pollute, at worst replace western culture.
Is it wrong to presume that our governments are the enemy of us?
To be suspicious that there is an underlying secret global agreement seems logical.

Terrorist Recruiter Released From GITMO

If you did not catch it on the news, here it is again. POTUS, sword to protect the Constitution and citizens of the United States, does neither.

In the past I would have classified this with the "Politics" label, but now I think the President just doesn't give a darn what the citizens think or what the political fallout it, he is simply marching along the merry anti-colonialist path. By the way, the left lane of that path leads right to communism, the right lane is already in the county of socialism.

They Can Propose What They Want

But that does not mean it will become law.
This bill House Bill 731 appears to be the output of six grandstanding Democrats, speaking indirectly to their constituents.
Chilling: Georgia Democrats Introduce a Gun Confiscation Bill
They call out a lot of rifles that friends of mine possess.
There is a lot of talk about 50 caliber ammunition and a laundry list of firearm models specifically identified. Many of rifles are one that friends of mine possess.  On the list are grenade launchers, which I suspect that people own for either for show or felonious intent, the first bears no risk and the later doesn't give a darn about the law anyway.

So Now....

Being against abortion is racist.
This Congresswoman, has confused her issues, normally the race card is applied when Caucasians, Republican Caucasians, dare to discuss civil rights issues.
About 40% of aborted fetuses in the United States would have been black babies, by the current Census 12.2% of the population is black.  While I am sure that a white man cannot understand what it means to be a black woman, the lack of proper pigmentation is not cause for exclusion from the selection of a better path. It is statistically significant that black abortions out pace the rest of the population by more than 300%. There is no emotion about it, number do not lie. The reasons and politically correct excuses for why this is happening are well documented.
If you want to have the argument on the worthiness of abortion, that is another discussion, just don't try to exclude on topic when you have picked the wrong parameters.
Furthermore, the Congresswoman should look at the history of legal abortion in America.  Margaret Sanger, American birth control activist, and mother of what became Planned Parenthood, was well known to have promoted abortion as a means of regulating the populations of peoples she did not deem acceptable. To quote....
Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.
Black Congresswoman Calls White Congressman Racist Because He’s Upset Black Babies Are Aborted: A Wisconsin U.S. Congresswoman criticized a fellow Congressman from her state on Friday after he called on African American legislators to do more to protect minority women and babies from abortion.
Could this lady be related to Hank Johnson, or was this simply a reflexive response?

Alley-Oop

There was a young woman named Sally,
who loved an occasional dally,
She sat on the lap,
of a well endowed chap,
and said “You’re right up my alley!”

PBR Street Gang

Back in my college days, we used to buy Pabst Blue Ribbon beer by the case in returnable bottles. Generally my two roommates and I went through about 3 cases a week. Filled a whole 5 gallons water bottle with caps in a single quarter. The long neck bottles had a label that included a small paper ribbon. The day of my first wedding, we tried to plan a visit to the Pabst brewery in central Georgia, it was vetoed, as it should have been.
This is cheap beer, but I still like it.
For those you you that did not understand the title of the post, watch Apocalypse Now.

CNN Host Advocates Rape of White Women

CNN men have impeccable credentials, Fareed Zakaria must have had his blog hacked.
CNN host Fareed Zakaria calls for jihad rape of white women
These are his words.
"The white race is rightfully failing because it is a foolish, arrogant, and self-absorbed ethnicity that has racism infused into its very genes. While the sharp incline of the death rate of white males is a good start, the solution to the 'white question' will not be reached until there is a sharp decline in the population of white females as well. Much more needs to be done in this regard if this country is ever to advance from its ignorant backwardness towards being an actually inhabitable nation.
Thankfully, the Prophet Muhammad has given us a foolproof way to speed up the decline of a vanquished nation by treating their women as our sex slaves. They may try and fight the unstoppable tide, but their resistance will grow only weaker as the white race loses its ability to keep its head above water. We may yet see some final convulsions before white Middle America is decreased to a manageable number where it can be more easily controlled."
Before this, I had no opinion of Fareed Zakaria, considered him to be a garden variety liberal newsman. An objective journalist, he is not.
Religion of peace, don't think so.
What this tells me is that at least some Muslims are racist rapists.

The Revenge of Vera Gemini

Back in the day this was one of my favorite pieces.

Now after some back ground reading, have learned that Patti Smith was considered as the lead singer for Blue Öyster Cult.
Enjoy.

Lawyers Without Borders

That is what I would call this commercial.
Watch: HILARIOUS New Cruz Ad Takes On Illegal Immigration...Guess Who's Crossing The Border | The Sean Hannity Show
He hits the nail right on the head, the political class's immigration policy, ignores the impact one citizens already struggling with poverty and gainful employment.
Illegal immigration drains on support resources, it promotes tax evasion, lowers property values for citizens in affected areas, and furthermore the attitude to being a responsible citizen is degraded.
I can show you, within 15 minutes of my home, examples of all of these effects.
