Enter the Obama administration, only these dumb asses would use a Federally funded scientific program to prop up the false assertion that Muslims have made historic contributions to math and engineering. That is not true, the Arabians and Persians made strong contributions to the fields of math and engineering, but not in the time since the beginiing of Islam. Remember that all comes after the birth of Christ. The closest contributions that Muslims have when is comes to rocketry is in their use of ballistic missles, sold to them by the likes of Russia, North Korea and China.
NASA chief Charles Bolden recently told Al-Jazeera TV that President Obama charged him with three crucial missions:
(1) "help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math"
(2) "expand our international relationships"
(3) "perhaps foremost" Bolden explained, president Obama "wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world ... to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering."
