Lester Holt Wins the Murrow Lifetime Achievement Award

In 2016 Lester Holt moderated a Presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

For this debate it was learned that Holt and Donna Bazile conspired to feed Hillary Clinton questions before the televised debate.
They cheated, and Clinton lost the debate anyway.
Their punishment, Holt gets an award and Brazile gets a network job.
An example of his objective news worthy opinion, as shared on Breitbart.
Holt anchors NBC Nightly News, and recently made headlines after a cartoon character representing him made a November 2020 appearance on Stephen Colbert’s “Our Cartoon President,” in which he asserted “you’d have to be a ‘f*king idiot’ to vote for President Donald Trump.”

During Holt's acceptance speech,  he made the statement...

"Fairness is overrated."

I've always though this cheating bastard deserved the Davis Cup, for being asshole of the week, He can wear the toilet seat for a crown for all I care.

The circle jerk is left handed.

David Cutcliffe and the Duke Band

My brother Les is a huge Alabama fan, loves to travel and watch the games, has the means to do so. To kick off this year's season he came to Atlanta and was kind enough to share a ticket. Alabama was playing the Duke Blue Devils.
The Blue Devils are led by Peyton Manning's mentor  David Cutcliffe, a man that I consider to be an arrogant jerk-off, good coach but a real prick. For the past few years he has enjoyed making fun the Georgia Tech triple option offense, comparing it to a high school offense. There really is no great science in any football offense, only a heard mentality of coaches that intimidated by what they cannot control. Admittedly Coach Cutcliffe has backed up his mouth and had good success against my alma mater.
Circling back to the game, after about a quarter, Alabama got is act together and started beating the feathers out of Duke. In the second half, in an attempt to eat up clock and slow the game down, he started running triple option plays, and fairly often. Duke even got penalized for some cut blocks.
I enjoy the triple option offense, run well it is more exciting than and pass happy spread scheme.

The last point I want to make is that the band for Duke has taken on the persona of their head coach in their arrogance. Pictured above the Duke band taunting Alabama fans before the game. Both are assholes and deserve the David Cup.

Flakey

Not long ago I found the wife watching a reality show and realized the man trying to get off a deserted island was Senator Flake.
Not Exactly Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
If Flake succeeds in bringing Kavanaugh down, the GOP deserves to go down with him.
Senator Flake is happy to be unencumbered by the promises and allegiances he made to become elected. It is fair to say when he made it clear that he considered himself to be the better Republican option for Presidential candidacy in 2020, he had lost all touch with the red wave that put Trump into office. These statements make clear his revulsion to the Democratic portrayal of Republican voters.
This is a perfect example of why passage of the 17th amendment was a travesty of justice, removing the ability of state governments to remove and replace standing Senators. With six years terms Senators have become immune to their state's political goals and left free to raise campaign money on a national level making them more answerable to groups like the national Chamber of Commerce and for that matter national political parties.
These days Senators have disdain for the people they claim to represent.
The Davis Cup is reserved for special assholes, like the soon to be private citizen Jeff Flake.

Cory Booker

Cory Booker, Senator of New Jersey, darling of the Democrats, reveals secret documents in an attempt to undermine the judicial candidacy of Brett Kavanaugh.
In this day when everyone with a voice casts cries for harsh judgement, yet no judgement falls on politicians that break the rules of the Senate, and for that matter the concept of simple decency.
Compares himself to Spartacus, what a jack-ass.

Mostly

I have regarded President Obama as a self absorbed narcissist.  He unwillingness to deal with Congress while heaping on them all of the blame, the constant me, me me, the statements like be happy and sit in the back of the bus.
After this question an answer session, I am convinced he is less than that.

No, he is much less that, he is a stupid asshole.
To cling to the description of him being a narcissist is to give him too much credit.
For all of his faux sensitivity, to make the statement in Paris, when he did, is amazing.
“I say this every time we’ve got one of these mass shootings. This just doesn’t happen in other countries.”
Amazingly stupid.

Mindless Award Fun

Yesterday morning, I saw a post on my Facebook, by a 18 year old young man stating that compared to his mother that had raised three sons, without the help of a father, Caitlyn Jenner had no rightful claim on being woman of the year. This young man, for whom I have great respect, has proper perspective. He sees a woman who struggles on behalf of others getting little recognition while a man receives false acclaim and spends his hours fussing over how his children are going to have to deal with it.  One parent sacrifices for her children, another parent sacrifices upon his children.
It sees that many people agree, at least and the places where I read.
No picture of the revised man will be shown, after all, that is exactly what what he desires, attention.
Bruce Jenner has the right to do what he wants with his body, as long as he doesn't endanger others or expect the public to pay for it, I am fine with it. His choice should not to be held out as a symbol of achievement, when it is in reality, an expression of mental illness. The condition Mr. Jenner has is real, no doubt the source of great mental anguish, in no way is this trivial
What he is not, is a woman, he is a man altered to look like a woman.
Simple as that.
Giving the man an award for being Woman of the Year, is akin to giving a freshly elected politician the Nobel Peace Prize before having served in elected role. These are better characterized as political statements than awards.
In the end they have trivialized their own dominion.
Not unlike Mr. Jenner has done to himself.

For this Glamour Magazine wind the long withheld Davis Cup aka Annus Rectum Award, aka AR Award.

A-List Bitch

The source title is a little overstated, but the feeling is understood.

When I first heard that the New York Times published the address of the vindicated policeman, a temptation to throw something through the television was great.

POLICE LAUGH AT REPORTER Who Published Darren Wilson’s Address After She Requests A-List Protection

Ms. Bosman, by her actions, is in my judgement, a mean spirited cunt.

Falcon Fever

"F---ing Zimmerman got away with murder today wow what kind of world do we live in. All them jurors should go home tonight and kill themselves for letting a grown man get away with killing a kid."
--Atlanta Falcons player Roddy White

The above statement is proof that being a well paid athlete is not evidence of a successful education.  As an Atlantan, my opinion of the athlete had been that he was a gifted, hard working football player.  Now, not so much.

Racial Demagogue

"I think it's possible if the police had got a black Zimmerman, the question would be whether they would have beat him to death and then threw handcuffs on him and dragged him into the precinct."
--Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demagogue
A demagogue or rabble-rouser is a political leader in a democracy who appeals to the emotions, prejudices, and ignorance of the less-educated citizens in order to gain power and promote political motives. Demagogues usually oppose deliberation and advocate immediate, violent action to address a national crisis; they accuse moderate and thoughtful opponents of weakness. Demagogues have appeared in democracies since ancient Athens. They exploit a fundamental weakness in democracy: because ultimate power is held by the people, nothing stops the people from giving that power to someone who appeals to the lowest common denominator of a large segment of the population.

The above definition nails it. Inflamatory statements like this perpetuate anger between followers on one side, and exasperated citizens on the other. It is hyperbole.

Just Up the Road

This a billboard set up in Atlanta, inviting illegal aliens to move to South Carolina.
If only our visitors gave a crap about learning English, they would be able to read about the sarcastic opportunity.

Perhaps this is what John Calhoun was talking about when he was pushing for state's rights to nullify. Elected government officials are obligated to protect the citizenry per their oaths when taking office.  Then you have usurpers like Lindsey Graham nullifying the primary purpose of their chosen station in life.
A Davis Cup man, but I don't have the time to work up a toilet seat halo picture for LD.

Martin Sheen = Blowhard

Martin Sheen says to the Republicans.....
"keep you hands off of Medicare"

Within the embedded video this libtard says......
the Republicans want to end Medicare, end it all together
An obvious lie.  The new Ryan budget came out this week, another pieces of legislation that the Democratic Senate will obstruct, it does suggest revisions to Medicare not the removal of.  There is a big difference, and Martin knows it, he is attempting to guide the simple minded to the vote he needs.

What an asshole!

It's So Sad

I picked up on this at The Blaze. Commentator Mike Malloy, one of the Sirius XM hosts, suggests that southern storm victims are simply the victim of god's wrath.

Malloy is expressing what I have long experienced, as a northern transplant to who loves south, the regional bigotry that Yankees express toward southerners. Malloy attempting to be humorous at the expense what he considers to be an inferior group.  Tasteless as it is, it does bring to mind a lack of logic in the asshole's comments.
He clearly stands on the opinion that weather is an expression of events that are scientifically monitored and explained.  He suggests that these people he looks down his nose at, who believe in god, a god he does not believe in, are victims of gods wrath.  Illogical in the sense that worship in no form causes the wrath of the one being worshiped, whether it be god or man.  So, for his personal enjoyment, he satirizes.
Today on the way to work, I noticed one of my co-workers having to go home at the start of the day.  He was having to go home because the wind  storms had torn off the roof of his house, trees were down all over his yard and house and the rain was leaking through the roof causing his ceilings to collapse.  The two houses across the street from him are gone.  I do not know if he goes to church or believes in god, but I know he loves his family and went home to keep his family safe. Such mawking would draw a physical response from the person I know is suffering.
Malloy should be ashamed.  I don't give a rat's ass if he ever apologizes.  I do plan to complain to Sirius XM of which I have been a long time customer.

The Davis Cup is bestowed on assholes of renowned achievement.

He's A NUT

As Barney Fife used to say on "The Andy Griffith Show".

http://www.tagsrwc.com/trickytimers/wavs/Barney/nut2.wav

Minister Louis Farrakhan has foolish notion that the whole world is out to destroy is President.
"Do you think they're wicked enough to be plotting our brother's assassination as we speak?"
"I believe they want a Muslim to kill President Obama,"
Strong words from that man that probably arranged for the murder of Malcom X.

Obama assassinated? Don't rule it out, rants Farrakhan

You Couldn't Make This Stuff Up Any Better

A well known, retired, anti-gun proponent, has been arrested for methamphetamine distribution and stands accused by co-conspirators of trading his product for male-male sexual favors.
Retired Colorado Arapahoe County Sheriff Patrick Sullivan has testified before Congress in his support of various Brady-esque gun control initiatives. In 2001 the lawman was named national Sheriff of the Year. Hindsight certainly, but that selection has to rank up there with President Obama being awarded the Nobel Peace Price.
The Denver Post reports a statement by former District Attorney Jim Peters, who said the allegations against the former sheriff are....

"He was completely ethical, upright and honest,"
this is the part that cracks me up.....
"He just oozed honesty and integrity. He was an outstanding sheriff."
Oozed honesty, that's priceless. If I had been a former coworker and not seen this asshole for what he is, I would be keeping my mouth shut right for fear that the rest of the world might learn what dope I am.

No doubt many people were fooled by this dirt bag. But what disgusts me is the quality of man that he Democrats will trot out to testify before Congress. As long as the big mouth's opinion fits, give it a soap box.
It is a shame that Barney Frank is retiring, one might have been able to shag favor from the other, now that both men have lying to Congress, homosexual quid pro quo and drug related issues on their resumes.

http://www.denverpost.com/breakingnews/ci_19439677

The Davis Cup is named a classically inappropriate person in my past, most folks would just call the label AHOTW.  In the old days I would have gotten a picture of the Sheriff and put it inside of a picture of a toilet seat.
"totally out of character" and "hard to believe."

President Mawks Citizens

Our President in this video clip repeatedly refers to "they" with the purpose portraying illegal immigration activists as inconsistent in their demands. What he neglects to say is that "they" are citizens he is obliged to protect. What he also neglects is that the demands made are to first stop illegal imigration flow coming across the southern border of the nation, not some target number of agents. The flow has not stopped, the effort to guard the border has been diminished with bean bag type policy and ATF gun games.

Naturally Mr. President takes credit for what he and his cadre have accomplished, but in that ignores the effect of the states enacting laws like E-Verify in spite of his reproaches. He wants illegal immigrants to become Democratic voters, and he is willing to obstruct justice to accomplish that.

Take away the illegal hiring and and one of the lure is removed.

Take away the preversion of the 16th ammendment and another lure is removed.

For criticizing people who expect you to enforce the law, Mr. President, you get the Davis Cup, aka, Asshole of the Week.

Ground Zero Zero

Have said this before, Michael Moore's work in the movie Roger and Me made me a fan.  The stylized badgering fit my Yankee upbringing.  When he won the chance at a television series, I was committed to being a viewer, for about a week and a half.  Since then, the badgering has become more like the ranting of  a deranged psychopath. There is a hatred in this man so deep, I can only guess that some other psychopath in his family got screwed by the man during Michael's childhood.
That or he didn't get enough government cheese.
Michael had this to say about Ground Zero.

"If the mosque isn't built, this is no longer America.  I am opposed to the building of the mosque two blocks from Ground Zero. I want it built on Ground Zero."
For this I would normally Photoshop a picture of Michael Moore and center it in another picture of a toilet bowl.  The quote and it pissed me off so much I don't want to spend the time d.king around with pictures.
For these asinine comments I bestow my recurring Davis Cup Award, named for the classically inappropriate Rob V. Davis, to Michael Moore.  Others call such an award "Asshole of the Week" and "AHOTW".  Rob recently became a friend on Facebook, he does not know about the award's title. He wouldn't mind, I hope.

I Guess I am Ignorant

This I owe to my government education.

Covered in many places on the Internet but apparently not at his place of work. MSNBC's Cenk Uygur had this to say about the uproar of the proposed mosque near the former World Trade Center.
"The roughly 70 percent of Americans who oppose the Ground Zero mosque are ignorant."
Cenk Uygur is Turk born in Istanbul, graduate of Columbia law, and former member of the New York Bar.
He characterises himself as an moderate liberal agnostic.
I describe him as an Islamic leaning asshole.

By the by Mr. Uygur, Rasmussen says...
Now 62% oppose the building of a mosque near where the World Trade Center stood in Lower Manhattan, compared to 54% in the previous survey. Twenty-five percent (25%) favor allowing the mosque to go ahead, and 13% more are not sure.
Using my secular government education, 0.7 x 0.62 = 0.43, 43% of Americans polled are ignorant.
I wonder how that compares with actual illiteracy level of Uygur's backwards-ass homeland?

Mo Power, Mo Ability

As the host says….
Then the audience of young democrats was blessed with comments from this left-most liberal.
“one of my heroes, doing incredible work in Congress, I don't need to say anything else, he's Barney Frank”

Within the above video Barney makes the comment…
Let's parse this comment made honorable representative.
"You can reach out to your fellow young people, and make it clear to them that, where they may not be satisfied with everything we've done... the way to cure that is to give us more authority and more ability"
  • You can reach out to you fellow young people = please try to convince some of your inexperienced government educated to blindly follow our leadership
  • and make clear to them = demand blind obedience
  • where they may not be satisfied =  young people are, more often than not, never satisfied, therefore because they are not dissatisfied, we feel your pain and wish we could do all you want even though we have little to no interest in satisfying you, when you are older, an d forming opinions based on experience you might leave us, we know you might (MIGHT) learn.
  • everything we've done = see President Obama, see socialism, see Putin.
  • the way to cure that is = suggesting that he already knows the solution, which we all know is not true
  • to give us more authority =  that's the way socialists roll, define the problem, never solve the problem, always say that we are not doing enough of the solution we recommend.
  • and more ability = this is weird, how do you give ability, how do you transfer ability, is it by wishing, does this harken the the famous line "to each according to his need, from each according to his ability" perhaps he means that the fruits of ability need to be transferred.
Let's face it, Barney Frank has the moral equivalency to a Tiger Woods.  He had boyfriends on as federal employees, paid to be available for whatever.  He pushed the federal lending institutions into giving loans to people who could not afford it, then has spent the last two years trying to pin responsibility on Bush.   Barney Frank is a joke. AHOTW.

Paul Is Dead

Have always been a John Lennon fan, many Beatle fans tend to choose sides between John or Paul.  My boss is a huge, huge Paul McCartney fan.  The following may convince him otherwise....
First off, this earns Mr. Silly Little Love Songs AHOTW honors.  Why is it that every artist feels compelled to make some comment about how stupid GW Bush is?  Any practical person knows that the opposite is true, that this opinion in itself shows ignorance and a willingness to degrade for the sake of laughter.
"It's a fantastic honor for the Gershwin family to give me this incredible and for me to be awarded it by the Library of Congress.  In fact, after the last eight years, it's great to have a president who knows what a library is."
To pile on and parse the quotation, Mr. Yeah Yeah Yeah is such an egomanic that he told the Gershwin family that they should be so blessed as to give him an award.  Now I understand what he meant, but that is not what he said. Then followed up by a slap at our President?  AHOTW for you.

We never should have scoffed at Congressman Hank Johnson

DGJ sent this earlier today, last week when the YouTube viseo was travelling around the office, I came to the conclusion that this was a April Fool Hoax.  Today with this fun picture and DGJ's strong opinion I consider the man to be the AOTW, but we should not pick on those that are mentally challenged.
One of my, Georgia, representatives: Hank Johnson (no relation...BTY). I’m so proud…
He makes Cynthia McKinney look like an amateur. You should Google this nut if you haven’t seen the vid or others of his...
Update: Hank Johnson’s view of putting 8000 more Navy personnel on the island of Guam. If you haven’t seen the video please watch it first.
This photo was taken using the most advanced mental scanning images available to the US government. Be warned: you will be denied this superior technology when enrolled in ObamaCare. Not to be used on the common folk… Note: Any and all other intelligent images (intelligent term used lawlessly) that may have been taken have been classified and won’t be released until after 2016…

Thank you DGJ.
