Jeanne Shaheen beat Scott Brown in a surprisingly close election, Shaheen carrying 51.6 percent of the vote.
The day before the election information was released that links Jeanne Shaheen to Lois Lerner and the IRS Targeting scandal.
Do you think the result might have been different if the IRS has no dragged its knuckles in releasing the evidence of wrongdoing? My guess is yes,
Point to Eric Holder for obstructing the truth.
Justice is no longer the domain of the DOJ.

Picnic at My House

Some friends at work thought it would be fun to have some at my expense.
So, they organized a picnic with some fictitious events, sort of like the Ledbetter Olympics.
I just left that company after 30+ years of service, going to miss that fun group a great deal.

Being on the White House email gives me the opportunity to see how the executive branch is pumping its position.  Today we received links to the White House "white board"; a collection of "shareables".  Text of the email follows....

Lets break it down, four panels on the first page.

1. What Obamacare Means For You; aka free medical attention AND government control of the medical industry
2. A Plan For College Affordability;  aka free tuition AND government control of higher education
3. Immigration Reform & Our Economy;  aka free everything for illegal aliens
4. Student Loan Compromise;  aka freedom from the requirement of being responsible to one's obligations.

What I do not see on the"shareables" page.......

1. Evidence of effort to keep promises of disclosure made to the families of those killed in Benghazi. 
2. Responsibility assigned for the ordering of the offensive application of IRS and NSA facilities against conservative political opponents.
3. Objectiveness in the issue of gun control, acknowledgement of the fact that existing control policies augment violence in urban areas.
4. Honesty within the issue of alien policy.  Law are being broken and the federal government is passive; by abstaining from action shows favoritism to the corporate goal of minimizing labor costs. 

The "white board", the White House's infomercial for crap that costs a lot and does not ever achieve what it promises!

Here's Your Sign

If the angry sarcasm wasn't so well earned by the man, I would be so happy to spread the word.

The President tells his detractors to get in the back of the bus and try to be happy about how much he is helping the country out of it's problems.  Problems that often, at the minimum, are exacerbated by related government programs. Then if the issue is protection of rights enumerated in the founding documents, the governments encroachment is encouraged as best for the "common sense" approach to conflict.

Just Up the Road

This a billboard set up in Atlanta, inviting illegal aliens to move to South Carolina.
If only our visitors gave a crap about learning English, they would be able to read about the sarcastic opportunity.

Perhaps this is what John Calhoun was talking about when he was pushing for state's rights to nullify. Elected government officials are obligated to protect the citizenry per their oaths when taking office.  Then you have usurpers like Lindsey Graham nullifying the primary purpose of their chosen station in life.

Peeing on IRS Sign

As an eighteen year old, the night before I went to Georgia for college, my friends took a picture of me peeing on the Clinton police department sign.  That was after many beers and an historic baseball game at Fenway Park.

This is something many of us would like to do.

MoveOn is at it again, their  emails often have titles that talk about how stupid conservatives are.

Do you see the irony in the title of this email link?

Abortion clinics smother the life of unborn children.

Some politicians, on behalf of many citizens seek to constrict the dark arm of Planned Parenthood.

Rachel, with her anemic little show, is more concerned with the life of a business, than the life of children.

Glock Blocked

Not really, but this is an interesting turn that I experienced using my employer's computer. I wanted to buy an NRA patch for my motorcycle vest, thought it might be a cool addition. Using a link  found on one of the zillions of NRA emails received asking for money, I was able to access the NRA site, but when I chose the NRA site store link, this is the blocking message received.
I respect my employer's right to control the use of their equipment. But why allow access to the site, and then block the store?
By the way, the company has a policy that says you cannot have a firearm in your vehicle. Not including my car, a search of vehicles in the parking lot would yield at least ten firearms.
There is a bill being offered in the state of Georgia that would make it legal for citizens to keep firearms in their personal vehicles.

The weather report said the temperatures were to be in the fifties, my chilled testicles say otherwise.

This was the greeting photo today on my email service.
Frankly, I do not think there should be special rights for any citizens except the disabled.
The disabled should be protected in a manner that guarantees humane lifestyle wherever possible.
Most special protections (aka rights) are a euphemisms for the application of extra punishment, and financial inducement (aka quid pro quo, or bribes).
For instance, on a religious level I think gay marriage is contrary my teachings, on a governmental level is should be legal.  If gay marriage is legal, then many of the personal hardship issues disappear.
As to the militant factions who want retribution, in about a hundred years the coalition can get governments around the world to issue 'official' apologies for all historical transgressions.

I have posted this before and think this card is the same as last year.

Being the same exterior; for originality, I decided to add a pertinent quotation.

This, to me, says that religion contributes to morality. 
That is not to say that morality cannot last without religion. 
Religion does serve as a bellwether for morality.
