Margot Kidder

Passed away this week.

An actress whose most prominent roll was as Lois Lane, sweetheart to Christopher Reeve's Clark Kent. A one-time girlfriend of Hugh Hefner and all that goes with that. To me Margot Kidder was a minor actor who as a model had the kind profile that photographed inconsistently, at times beautifully. With her career behind her Margot Kidder had a tough time with mental illness and drug abuse. Rest in peace.

This was on the cover of Playboy magazine while I was in college.

This was a poster that I had on my ceiling when I was in high school.
First married to the 6 Million Dollar Man, Lee Majors, and then twice (which I did not know until today) to Ryan O'Neal.

Capucine

Capucine was a French fashion model who worked in film as an actress for over 40 years.

Well known for her work in the comedies The Pink Panther and What's New Pussycat? 

Capucine committed suicide in 1990, at the age of 62.
For me, this lady embodied a look of mature beauty.

Natassha Kinski

Natassha Kinski has always been one of my favorites.

She is the daughter of a famous Polish actor, Klaus Kinski.

Her work has not been as extensive as her father's but if you watch Paris, Texas, or, even better, Exposed you can get a good idea of her screen presence.
In light research, I see that the famous pedophile Roman Polanski had a relationship with her when she was 15 and he was 43.

Anita Pallenberg

Anita Pallenberg was actress, artist and model. I remember hearing about her as a youngster but really did not know who she was.
She passed away yesterday, June 13, 2017 at the age of 73.
Anita Pallenberg was best known for being the girlfriend of two Rolling Stones band members, the first being Brian Jones and the latter being Keith Richards with whom she had three children.
Anita Pallenberg appears in more than a dozen films, the most recognizable being Barbarella.

God bless Anita.

Susan Hayward

This beauty left the earth at far too young an age, passing in 1975 at the the age of 57. Susan Hayward was nominated five times to the Academy Award. Happy to see that she lived near Heflin, near a familiar fraternity destination, the Huddle House.

Have always thought this was a pretty woman, all the way back her "anti-dentite" guest spot on the Seinfeld. Have a good friend that looked like this when she was young.

Actress  Gene Tierney, has been gone for over 25 years, but in her prime attracted the likes of Howard Hughes, John Kennedy, Kirk Douglas Spencer Tracy and Tyrone Power.

Anita Ekberg

Another voluptuous Nordic actress, Anita Ekberg was Miss Sweden in 1950, and sixth in the Miss Universe pageant of 1951

Her best movie role was in La Dolce Vita, directed by Federico Fellini, in which she played the part of Sylvia. Most of her career was spent on little known films. Ekberg was almost picked for the part of Honey Ryder in the James Bond movie Dr. No, but the opportunity was given to Ursula Andress. This is a lady that most people have not heard of, for myself not until she was old woman. Unfortunately she passed in 2015 at the age of 83.

Tina Louise

Yes, Ginger Grant, the movie star of Gilligan's Island, actress Tina Louise. In the picture above, she is sporting a look that is more natural. Tina Louise did not achieve the stardom she sought, in part due to being typecast in the popular sitcom. Tina Louise is now 82 years old.

Milana Vayntrub

You might not recognize her at first, but she is the AT&T girl.
This is a fine looking young lady.
The socks look like something I would have had back in the seventies.

Ann-Margret Olsson

I did not know she was from Sweden.
From the picture, you can't tell if she's going to the right or to the left.
