While making light, I find the topic, attached to Google, frightening. Yet here I am, posting on a Google based blog. At least the blog was created before Google gobbled BlogSpot.

For the most part I've bit on my tongue because I have friends that are fully hooked, and I have no desire to offend them. On Facebook my process is to ignore what offends me, maybe turn some folks off for a time and never post provacative political comments.
I've seen posts that describe Soleimani as a general of a sovereign nation, murdered in another sovereign nation.  True enough I guess, but in it's context suggesting the man was innocent, which was hardly true

The description that comes to mind is EUNUCH, a gaggle of EUNUCHS strutting around the Congressional floor thumping their chest for having helped the the oppressed of eastern Europe. The money, $150,000,000.00 is like a drop of rain in the ocean, it is not significant help, it is risk averse.

Employee Hours Rules Passage Vote Passed (248-179, 4 Not Voting)
House members voted on Thursday to change the number of hours employees must work to qualify for mandatory employer coverage under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. The law would define full-time employees as those working 40 hours a week, ten more hours than as defined under current law.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
On this one I think the result is wrong and the vote of my Representative is wrong. The politicians in control today and going back to under President Bush have been pushing to call full time a 32 hour work week.  The vote itself is probably inconsequential, the Senate and the President will squelch it.

Said it up above, it is time for some politicians to insist people get off their asses. Hell they do not have to do anything, unemployment has been pretty high in Georgia for the last 6 years but I do not know of a single person that was not on the edge of retirement anyway that has not been able to find workable employment quickly.

The House is scheduled to consider the Budget Committees Fiscal Year 2015 budget resolution this week.
I would start the process by de-funding the IRS and DOJ.

I have mixed feeling about this one, this is a matter between citizens and their states and if they have a complaint, that is what the the courts are for. On the other hand, some states are doing some horrific shit out there in the name of getting more tax revenue for the "public good". On the other had, or foot, as it would be, we have the federals claiming privately owned lands for all sorts of bullshit causes, who do they answer to? 

Federal Rule-Making Process  Passage

A bill that would make a number of changes to the federal rule-making process passed the House on Thursday. The bill, passed mainly along party lines, would require agencies to consider the costs and benefits of rules and alternatives when issuing regulatory directives. The bill would allow the Small Business Administration to intervene in another agency's rule-making process and would expand the ability of small businesses to challenge federal rules in court. Federal agencies would also be required to make monthly reports of rule-making and post rules online.

Rules about spending money evaporate with both real and contrived need, What a herculean waste of time. For for or against it seems so trivial that a "Not Voting" entry would be most evocative.

Money collection schemes where the proceeds have a negative effect on the persons that need "fairness".

With Thanksgiving coming on and the fact that some people do not have enough money to buy the turkey they want, the President should devise a program where families receive a voucher for 1 pound of  turkey per family member. Taxpayers have pay for 2 pounds of turkey per family member.  The government will then invest the excess turkey dollars into minority run industries offering PETA approved meat alternatives.

“Bat is doing much better,” said Dave Santucci, an aquarium spokesman.

We have some friends that work as divers at the aquarium, it really is an impressive place.
