But the President who is sworn to uphold the Constitution, has anything but.
A significant majority of voters, 56%, oppose the current executive plan to allow illegal aliens in the country to pursue work.
Most Still Oppose Obama’s Immigration Amnesty, Say It’s Illegal
It depresses wages, damages property values, and raises welfare tax load.
But if the Chamber of the Commerce like cheap work and and the Democratic Party wants votes, illegal must be acceptable.

I guess it made channel 3 on the local news, if it was the other way around Reverent Al would be down there like stink on you know what, with the press on his backside.

Dear Christians
A friend of mine posted this to Facebook with the covering comment...
Now I do not know about all of that, but I do know that the majority of Christians that I know do not practice proselytism. If you did not know them you would not know their religion. It seems that much of the blame Christianity takes is because of minority vocal proponents. Mind you that while those proponents may be verbally obscene, they are rarely advocates of force in any manner.
Regardless, we have agnostics and atheists that take Christian words and equate them to acts of physical and fiscal violence currently practiced by other religions. This is the logical leap of a person that cannot win an argument an argument on causality and effect. Christianity, at this time in history, is a largely benevolent reformed religion, that advocates strength in defense of oppression.
It's fine to detest the words of people you do not agree with, but not an excuse to judge as and equivalent to acts of violence including murder.
Maybe you just didn't connect with Jesus because he thinks your an asshole too.Dear Christians - Technician: Opinion

Aide for the Damned
A little more catch up writing. A little more than a week old and a promise that they won't be back until next week.
Congress.org presents: MEGAVOTE on March 30, 2015 for Georgia's 13th Congressional District:
Recent Congressional Votes
Both chambers are in recess until Monday, April 13.
Recent Senate Votes
Fiscal 2016 Budget Resolution - Adoption Vote Agreed to (52-46, 2 Not Voting)
The Senate passed adopted the concurrent resolution that would set broad spending and revenue targets over the next 10 years. It would allow $523 billion for defense discretionary spending and $493.5 billion for non-defense spending in fiscal 2016, the statutory level set by the 2011 budget law.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
Ten year spending projections. Conservative Republicans if there were any, would be concentrating on a ten cost control program. But there are very few conservative Republican Senators therefore we are stuck with worthless promises of how money is going to be spent. All decisions are temporary gentlemen, especially when the President hasn't told you what you are going to approve. The Senate is loaded with chicken shit sycophants, repeal the 17th Amendment!
Recent House Votes:
Ukraine Military Assistance – Passage Vote Passed (348-48, 36 Not Voting)
The House agreed to a motion to suspend the rules and adopt the resolution stating that the House of Representatives "strongly urges" the president to fully and immediately exercise authorities provided by Congress to provide Ukraine with lethal defensive weapons systems in order to enhance the ability of the Ukrainian people to defend their sovereign territory from the "unprovoked and continuing aggression of the Russian Federation."
Rep. David Scott voted YES
Aide for the Damned from the damnable. Hell I do no know what is right here. I do know that the current President will not interfere with anything Putin does in Ukraine. That unwritten policy kind of sets up assistance to the sovereign government like a welfare dependent, never getting enough aide to correct the problem, just enough to encourage the fight. People will die because of the vague conflict between weak Congressional support and obstinate Presidential refusal. Offsetting is the fact that somehow promised has not been entirely or even significantly delivered.
Veterans Affairs Future Budget Planning – Passage Vote Passed (420-0, 12 Not Voting)
The House agreed to a motion to suspend the rules and pass the bill, as amended, that would direct the Veterans Affairs Department to annually submit to Congress a future-years veterans program with its budget request. The program would reflect estimated expenditures and proposed appropriations for that fiscal year and succeeding four fiscal years, and would include a five-year plan for the department to meet its commitment to veterans, including the resources needed to do so.
Rep. David Scott voted YES
Like the vote Mr. Scott. Go further, push for privatization, more funding and continuous improvement engineering systems. Advocate for 5S methodology and Six Sigma practices to be instituted at the government departments directly serving people.

Trafficking While Blind
Catching up a little bit....
This Congress should be acting in a more conservative manner now that they have control of both Houses. They need to be stepping aside from fear based postures to stridently imposing limited government principles, literally rolling back the damage of the last 85 years, a 100 years if you look a the Wilson period. The vacuous crap that follows below is evidence the Congressional Republicans have little space between themselves and the Democrats.
Congress.org presents: MEGAVOTE for March 23, 2015 and Georgia's 13th Congressional District:

Upcoming Congressional Bills:
Recent Senate Votes:
Human Trafficking Restitution Fund - Cloture Vote Rejected (56-42, 2 Not Voting)
The Senate rejected a motion to invoke cloture, and thus limiting debate, on the bill that would use fines and penalties against sex-trafficking perpetrators for more restitution and assistance funds for victims.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
It is a curious thing that politicians would suggest closing discussion on something that reeks of political correctness without real effect. Rejection of cloture seem the only course action. It is all bullshit anyway, there will probably be more cost in the organization of the handout than money reaching the victims anyway. Unless this reaches beyond United States borders.
Recent House Votes:
Volunteer Firefighters’ Healthcare – Passage Vote Passed (415-0, 17 Not Voting)
The House agreed to suspend the rules and pass the bill that would clarify that qualified services rendered as a bona fide volunteer to an eligible employer do not count as employee hours of service for the purposes of the employer mandate under the 2010 health care overhaul.
Rep. David Scott voted YES
Did the overarching panacea of the universal act need more tweaking? I cannot believe it. Only six years into the process and we are still passing more legislation to make it better. This crap is like the income tax code, layer upon layer of bullshit. Each layer more well-meaning than the last. Its restrictive crap, blow it up.
EPA Rule-Making Guidelines – Passage Vote Passed (241-175, 16 Not Voting)
The House passed a bill that would prohibit the EPA from proposing, finalizing or disseminating a rule or other covered action unless all scientific and technical information used to decide upon the rule is made available to the public so the research can be independently analyzed and reproduced.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
Give me one good reason that a politician would vote against this. All the intent says is, don't act unless there is scientific proof. Hell the global warming (oops climate change) issue has shown us that scientific truth is subject to the politics of the scientist. No a vote against this is dogmatic Democratic abeyance to environmental cabal that is more interested in deconstruction of society than healthy living.
NLRB Case Representation Procedures – Passage Vote Passed (232-186, 14 Not Voting)
The House passed a joint resolution that would provide for congressional disapproval and nullification of the National Labor Relations Board rule relating to case representation procedures.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
An elected member of the House of Representatives voting against Congressional oversight. Imagine that, voting against control. Perhaps the Democrats are happier with an independent bureaucracy answerable only to the President and major unions. David Scott this is an abdication of responsibility on your part. The NLRB represent workers and has overstepped is authority when it attempts to thwart business initiatives that are contrary to union objectives. The objectives of unions are seldom congruent with the rights of workers.
Upcoming Votes:
Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determining Reauthorization Act - H.R.360
The bill would reauthorize the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996, and for other purposes.
Housekeeping
Tenant Income Verification Relief Act - H.R.233
The bill would allow reviews of certain families' incomes every 3 years for purposes of determining eligibility for certain Federal assisted housing programs.
You can bet the Democrats don't vote for this. They want people on the the rolls, and dependent. Checking the recipients will be described as racist is distrusting. Racist no, distrusting hell yes.
Department of Veterans Affairs Budget Planning Reform Act - H.R.216
The bill would amend title 38, United States Code, to direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to submit to Congress a Future-Years Veterans Program and a quadrennial veterans review, to establish in the Department of Veterans Affairs a Chief Strategy Officer, and for other purposes.
There needs to be a lot more review in this system, coupled with privatization, continuous improvement principles and increased Congressional monetary support. Following through on health care for Veteran's is a committment, cull out the waste and treat people faster.
