An Honest Response

This certainly a form letter, but I have to give credit when it is due. Senator Raphael Warnock, in this response at least acknowledges our positions are opposed and makes a promise to continue on the path of admitting more illegal aliens.
He's a dick for favoring illegal aliens over a citizens concerns, at least he's a stand up dick.

Dear Mr. Otis,

Thank you for contacting me to discuss your opposition to immigration reform as a part of budget reconciliation. This is a critically important issue to our nation. The United States has always been a nation of immigrants, and I believe that we must fix our broken immigration system and approach this problem with empathy and humanity.

As you may know, one-in-ten Georgians were born in a different country, and one-in-thirteen Georgia residents have at least one immigrant parent. I support comprehensive legislation to fix our broken immigration system. I also believe we need to secure our border, keep our communities safe, grow our economy, and ensure all migrants and immigrants are treated humanely.

As a man of faith and champion for human rights, I also believe we should keep families together, and institute a reliable system to process legitimate requests from asylum seekers and refugees—people who are fleeing violence or persecution in their home countries—in a timely manner. I understand the desire to pass this immigration by any means necessary as well as the importance of following Senate rules. As the Senate continue to consider the best path forward for a solution to immigration you can trust I will consider the opinion of all Georgians.

I know that there are many viewpoints on this subject, and I value hearing from you. Thank you again for reaching out to me. Please do not hesitate to do so again in the future if I may be of assistance to you or your family.

 Sincerely,

Reverend Raphael Warnock
United States Senator
