I think people getting wound up over the movie "First Man" excluding the stars and bars from their movie, is hyperbolic. Movies are art, artists can create whatever they want, if people buy it, fine. If people don't buy it, just as good. An actor's explanation that the feat "transcended countries and borders" as a reason for the obfuscation is bullshit. The producers should have the courage to own their decisions.
Giving credit to mankind is like giving trophies for competing, hell in this case not even trying to compete.
