I Used to Like Sandwiches

Now I have to be careful of the contents before I take a bite.
For myself, I have found that you have to give politicians a couple of terms before their real identity shows. Take for instance Lindsey Graham who at his start was portrayed as a progressive Republican. I should have recoiled at the adoration of the press, but instead bought in and took a big bite out of the shit sandwich. Now that tastes pretty bad, the press liked him because he was one of them, and only a Republican because he wanted to be elected.

I like Lindsey Graham better than Jim DeMint, so I don't think you and I share the same political philosophies. I guess I am more liberal, but I do consider myself conservative. I don't get hot and bothered if somebody disagrees with me. I feel it is all politics - can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen type of thing.I have no idea how I am going to vote for president in 2012. Right now, I just leave it blank and proceed to the next category. Nancy Pelosi? Isn't she an obnoxious little harpy? I looked over your profile and see that you must be a Tea Partier. Like all Tea Partiers, you must like Ayn Rand, since Atlas Shrugged is one of your favorite books. When I was in college I enjoyed some of her novels. I think I liked the Fountainhead the best. I don't believe in all of her political ideas. She grew up in Soviet Russia, so I do consider her an expert on what life was like during those years. I also enjoyed one of her books about a young girl who ended up being sentenced to a slave labor camp. Do you remember the name of that book? By the way, Patrick Henry complained about taxation without representation. He should come back and see what it is like with representation. Pertaining to the above article, Do you know what you get when you combine shit with shit? A lot more shit.

  2. He is a nicer man, have to agree. The Rand books I have enjoyed but do not fully agree with the objectivist model, especially over religion. Before I have said that I consider myself a domestic libertarian and a foreign policy republican. There are problems with all political programs, a subject that I really enjoy. Thanks.
