The picture that the the Atlanta Journal Constitution shows is of a young man with a bullhorn protesting, this with a crowd of about 20 behind him. The news industry will be playing up how this injures the poor "undocumented", but from what I can see in the picture resistance is weak, we have more to fear from the lawyers.
This is an issue where the minority has been too great of a voice, in effect placing friction in the legislative process, slowing a bill that addresses the practical application of laws already established.
Because the socialistic leanings of our government, enforcement of immigration laws has been undermined by businesses that employ cheap labor and politicians seeking a numerical base advantage.
This law goes to the root of the issue, making employment of illegal aliens difficult more costly.
I am glad that Governor Deal kept his promise by signing this into law.
Hope to see other states in the south do the same.
