Candidate Comparison for Georgia's District 13 Race

Sent to me by NumbersUSA.com, a good example of what you get when districts are gerrymandered. As you drive around the south east section of Cobb County and near the Atlanta airport, the sign clusters shift from Crane to Scott to Crane. Looking at the yards and the people in the homes, this is largely a black white demarcation. I get it, if I was black I would would be inclined to vote with my race as well.
A coworker was lamenting that the horseshoe shaped district we live in leaves certain quadrants of the region ignored.   I told him that it is a good thing to be in the minority, if we can bring down David Scott we will have done a more significant deed than voting for a man like Phil Gringrey whom as a fellow Tech man and MD has a record perfectly aligned with my beliefs.
In the past I've been represented by men like Newt Gingrich, it was easy to enjoy the representation.  Now I get to feel like a subversive, it's fun.
I thought Honeycutt was better candidate and suspect that Democrats primary crossed to force Republicans in with the weaker candidate.  A legal choice that I've made before, it give the minority party the power to sway votes, e.g, Cythia McKinney.  But now, Crane looks a whole lot better than the stubby little guy that runs to East Point to brag about ObamaCare.

Dear activists,
The grid below shows a comparison of the candidates and their position on a variety of immigration issues. The ratings are based on responses to our immigration-reduction survey, indicated by the "Yes" and "No" icons, or statements made by the candidates themselves, indicated by colored circles.
The ratings for candidates who did not complete our survey may not represent the candidate's entire position on immigration, but it is what we have been able to determine through their campaign website and news reports. If a candidate on the grid has not completed our immigration-reduction survey, you can download a copy from our website and strongly urge them to complete it -- https://www.numbersusa.com/hub?action=route&rid=3655&jid=724889&tid=397605&lid=9.
NumbersUSA DOES NOT endorse candidates, but we do tell you who has the best immigration platform based on the information we've been able to gather. Candidates labeled as True Reformers have completed our immigration-reduction survey and agree with NumbersUSA on most of our key issues. An incumbent can earn the True Reform label if they have sponsored our "5 Great Immigration-Reduction Bills" and have a career grade of an A.
