Hating Woody - By Jonah Goldberg - The Corner - National Review Online

The National review is such a great magazine. The quality of the writers make it a magazine that I enjoy reading almost as much as the New Yorker. Goldberg describes how historians explain the conservative revulsion with Woodrow Wilson, in those explanation is clear a desire to deflect that application of the description "progressive", and each falls short of the mark.
In one section Harvard historian Jill Lepore suggests....
Liberals are bad at labeling things, not least themselves, their political opponents, and their policies; conservatives are good at it.
To this the columnist responds with.....
Riiiiiight

Could not agree more Jonah. Liberal writers and politicians brand all conservatives as a racist or evangelical.  Liberals do not have the skills to name call?  Give me a break, the complainants recognize their labels as mainstream and all else as fringe. The inverse is true.
