This Sounds Like the Politicians WE Have

"If private profits are to be legitimized, private fortunes made honorable, these great forces which play upon the modern field, both individually and collectively, be accommodated to a common purpose."

An articulate message that says the proceeds of capitalism must be spent on the needs of the common. Like many well intentioned utopian beliefs, this message ignores the reality that motivation to attain "private fortunes" is removed when the fortunes are no longer allowed to be private. People stop taking risks when there is no reward.
