Eating from the Box

My dog has been struggling with allergies for about two years. A strange thing to start at age 9. The allergies caused John Henry to scratch and loose his appetite. A handsome dog, his fur began to become patchy and scabs were present. Anyway, after a long struggle with dog collars, steroids and antihistamines we are finally giving the yellow lab shots that have much improved his weight and coat.
For years we fed him only IAMS dry food, during this struggle the bride started hand feeding and cooking him special meals. He cut really fussy about what he ate. Now with the shots, that has improved, here he is eating right out of the storage container, dry food. He couldn't wait for me to finish pouring it out of the bag before he had his head stuck in there.

Nowadays, the cheaper the food, the more he likes it.
