South Carolina may be the only state in the union where a Democrat Senatorial candidate welcomes an endorsement by President Obama. DeMint's popularity is, at the moment, very high, it is doubtful that any Democrat had a fighting chance but this joker makes clear that there is a base of minority voters that will vote for their guy no matter what.
A situation not unlike that in Missouri a few years ago, when the Republican candidate lost to a man that had died.
