My Favorite Animal
Our teacher asked what my favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken."
She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, because everyone else laughed.
My parents told me to always tell the truth. I did. Fried chicken is my favorite animal.
I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA.
He said they love animals very much.
I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef. Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office.
I told him what happened, and he laughed, too. Then he told me not to do it again.
The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was.
I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, so I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken.
She sent me back to the principal's office. He laughed, and told me not to do it again.
I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am.
Today, my teacher asked me to tell her what famous person I admired most. I told her, "Colonel Sanders."
Guess where I am now...

Ann Corcoran on Refugee Resettlement
Out government is surreptitiously working to undermine American culture.
They, our government politicians and bureaucrats, clearly have not the courage to do it in an open and honest manner, therefore we should hold their actions with deep suspicion.

The look Bill's face is perfect for the caption.
The truth is President Clinton knows that he is loved in that room, and while what President Obama stands for is loved by the press, the man is not.

My response was...

An Apple for the Teacher
Congress.org presents MEGAVOTE for December 14, 2015 and Georgia's 13th Congressional District.
Recent Congressional Votes
Recent Senate Votes:
K-12 Education Reauthorization, Passage Vote Agreed to (85-12, 3 Not Voting)
The Senate cleared the conference report on the bill that reauthorizes the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965 for four years, through fiscal 2020, and modifies programs and policies throughout the law with the overall goal of giving states, school districts, schools, teachers and parents greater control over all aspects of elementary and secondary education. It maintains some federal oversight of state programs through the Education Department's ability to approve state plans for the use of federal funds, but it places strong restrictions on department actions and control.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
I suspect that end result will be enduring Federal government control all to a negative result. Doesn't matter what they say their intention is, the underlying purpose to total control and they could give a damn if the effect is improvement, in truth, failure is almost preferable.
Recent House Votes:
Visa Waiver Program, Passage Vote Passed (407-19, 7 Not Voting)
The chamber passed legislation that prohibits individuals who have been to specified nations such as Syria and Iraq from entering the United States unless they are interviewed by U.S. officials and get a regular visa, even if they are from countries that participate in the Visa Waiver Program.
Rep. David Scott voted YES
The scumbags follow this up with passing everything the President asked for in the budget. They are only pretending that they care about the immigration complaints, they want more voters dependent on the government.
Red River Private Property, Passage Vote Passed (253-177, 3 Not Voting)
The House passed a bill that requires the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to sell to current and adjacent landowners the roughly 30,000 acres of federal land along the Red River, which forms part of the border between Texas and Oklahoma.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
Little surprise David Scott's vote. Why would a Democrat ever vote for diminished government
control. Knowing this President there could be a project in the works, something like a weigh station for collecting entry fees from wetbacks.
Trade Enforcement, Passage Vote Passed (256-158, 19 Not Voting)
The House agreed to the conference report on the bill that includes numerous provisions to facilitate trade and improve U.S. trade enforcement, including formally establishing the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency and enhancing its authority, including authorizing an automated system for the agency to process imports and exports. It also makes permanent the ban on state and local taxation of Internet access and phases out the taxes imposed in seven states in which they were grandfathered.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
My guess is that the tax blockade is at issue for our little Democratic Representative.

Budget Bullshit
Congress.org presents MEGAVOTE for December 7, 2015 and Georgia's 13th Congressional District.
Recent Congressional Votes
Budget Reconciliation – Passage Vote Passed (52-47, 1 Not Voting)
The Senate passed the bill that repeals large portions of the 2010 health care overhaul law and cuts off federal funding to Planned Parenthood for one year. Specifically, it zeroes-out the law's penalties for noncompliance with the law's requirements for most individuals to obtain health coverage and employers to offer health insurance. It scraps the law's Medicaid expansion in 2018, as well as subsidies to help individuals buy coverage through the insurance exchanges. It also eliminates certain taxes included in the law, including the tax on certain high-value employer-sponsored health insurance plans.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
These dudes keep playing around the edges, trying to look good for the voters, all the while, they do not give a shit. Have no interest in these little games, if they had any balls they would come up with a comprehensive plan, that includes tort reform and gut the pieces of shit Affordable Care Act.
Surface Transportation Reauthorization-- Passage Vote Agreed to (83-16, 1 Not Voting)
The Senate cleared the conference report on the bill that reauthorizes federal highway and transit programs for five years, through fiscal 2020, at increased funding levels to begin addressing the nation's transportation infrastructure needs. It transfers more than $70 billion from Treasury's general fund and other funds to cover projected shortfalls in the Highway Trust Fund over that time and fully fund the measure's estimated $305 billion cost. The measure also reauthorizes Amtrak and restructures its funding to reflect its major lines of business, renews the charter for the Export-Import Bank and rolls back a reduction in the crop insurance program.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted NO
Amtrak, what freaking joke. In New England, and Atlantic corridor Amtrak is subsidized travel for Yankees, it keeps democrat voters happy. What happened to all of those shovel ready jobs in 2009, did they ever lift a finger to fix anything. Freaking New Orleans with all of politicians, money for nothing and chips for free.
Recent House Votes:
Fiscal 2016 Intelligence Authorization -- Passage Vote Passed (364-58, 11 Not Voting)
The chamber passed a bill that authorizes classified amounts in fiscal 2016 for 16 U.S. intelligence agencies and intelligence-related activities of the U.S. government, including the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), the CIA and the National Security Agency (NSA), as well as foreign intelligence activities of the Defense Department, FBI, State Department, Homeland Security Department and other agencies.
Rep. David Scott voted YES
Money for snoops, money spent too often on computer hardware rather than the clearly needed manpower on the ground. The President has made clear he holds little value in human intelligence, we know he has none, their attention now is too great on the data rather than the inside man.
EPA Existing Power Plant Rule Disapproval -- Passage Vote Passed (242-180, 11 Not Voting)
The House agreed to a joint resolution expressing disapproval of the rule submitted by the EPA concerning carbon emissions at existing power plants.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
For this crap David Scott is wrong. In Georgia is one of the country's two greatest coal fired electric generating plants. The EPA would have this plant closed down. This congressman stugots is cutting own peoples' livelihood.
EPA New and Retrofitted Power Plant Rule Disapproval -- Passage Vote Passed (235-188, 10 Not Voting)
The House agreed to a joint resolution expressing disapproval of the rule submitted by the EPA concerning carbon emissions at new and retrofitted power plants.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
I think I said enough right above.
K-12 Education Reauthorization -- PassageVote Passed (359-64, 10 Not Voting)
The chamber agreed to the conference report on the bill that reauthorizes the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965 for four years, through fiscal 2020, and modifies programs and policies throughout the law with the overall goal of giving states, school districts, schools, teachers and parents greater control over all aspects of elementary and secondary education. It maintains some federal oversight of state programs through the Education Department's ability to approve state plans for the use of federal funds, but it places strong restrictions on department actions and control.
Rep. David Scott voted YES
There was some talk that this should return some control to the states. I doubt it, we will have to wait an see.
Energy Security and Infrastructure Overhaul -- Passage Vote Passed (249-174, 10 Not Voting)
The House passed legislation which promotes the accelerated development and construction of natural gas pipelines and hydropower projects by increasing the authority of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and requiring the agency to set hard deadlines for environmental reviews and permitting, and by requiring the designation of at least 10 corridors across federal lands in the Eastern U.S. where pipelines could be built. It also includes numerous provisions intended to increase the security and reliability of the nation's electrical power grid; revises national energy efficiency standards and requires the Energy Department to expedite decisions on applications to export liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Rep. David Scott voted NO
More of the same crap out of our congressman.
Surface Transportation Reauthorization-- Passage Vote Passed (359-65, 9 Not Voting)
The House adopted the conference report on the bill that reauthorizes federal highway and transit programs for five years, through fiscal 2020, at increased funding levels to begin addressing the nation's transportation infrastructure needs. It transfers more than $70 billion from Treasury's general fund and other funds to cover projected shortfalls in the Highway Trust Fund over that time and fully fund the measure's estimated $305 billion cost. Rep. David Scott voted YES
Said it above, won be a large margin then passed onto the Senate who went ahead and passed.
Upcoming Votes:
K-12 Education Reauthorization - S1177
The measure would reauthorize the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965 for four years, through fiscal 2020, and modify programs and policies throughout the law with the overall goal of giving states, school districts, schools, teachers and parents greater control over all aspects of elementary and secondary education. Politicians and experts have screwed up the education system, good teachers are being worked to death, bad ones are allowed to skate without repercussion. The answer is less Federal government, cut the income tax and less this happen on a state and county level. The Feds keep talking about relinquishing control, but that they might is counter-intuitive.
Red River Private Property Protection - HR2130
The bill would require the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to sell to current and adjacent landowners the roughly 30,000 acres of federal land along the Red River, which forms part of the border between Texas and Oklahoma.
You can bet your ass David Scott votes against this in any form. Democrats believe in in keeping people off all land possible.

Ding Ding Ding
There was a young girl from Hong Kong,
whose cervical cap was a gong,
she said with a yell,
as a shot rang her bell,
“I’ll give you a ding for a dong!”

In the garden of Eden sat Adam,
massaging the bust of his madam,
he chuckled with mirth,
for he knew that on earth,
there were only two boobs and he had ‘em.

I came to the same conclusion about 2 months ago and have started putting my money toward Cruz being elected. That he voted for Rand Paul's recent proposal, with only 9 other Senators, reinforces my determination to help. The defeated pause amendment would have placed a temporary moratorium on refugee settlement from 33 high risk countries, with obsolescence on a certified approval process. The whole world acknowledges what the Senate will not. My state's Republican Senators voted against this, they are already on my shit list.
Rand Paul was right, Cruz was right to support, they were joined by.

American President
Sometimes I have had the thought hat Barack Obama sees himself in the role played by Michael Douglas in the aforementioned movie.
President Andrew Shepherd:
Our president, like the fictitious man in the movie sees himself as morally superior, as a more actor on the stage of social justice. He is not on either point, the simple misrepresentation of ACA to attain passage is proof enough of cloaked sinister objectives.
What the President fails to grasp, or elects to ignore, is that the 2nd Amendment is wrapped up the fabric of society of a majority of Americans. The right to self defense reaches well past the demonized NRA. Ownership of firearms is understood as means of personal protection from both criminals and the government. To keep trotting out the same blame mantra ruins the foundation of the core message.
A government that has proven it will not protect citizens rights, asks its citizens to trust what they coin as "common sense". Every person knows, on both the left and the right, that "common sense" for the left is always the next step of restriction. After all, is not their goal the elimination of personally owned firearms?
Here we have a poll that shows fully 2/3 of respondents assigning cause to something other than what the President said. I think the respondents are right.
President Andrew Shepherd:
The other piece of legislation is the crime bill. As of today, it no longer exists. I'm throwing it out. I'm throwing it out writing a law that makes sense. You cannot address crime prevention without getting rid of assault weapons and handguns. I consider them a threat to national security, and I will go door to door if I have to, but I'm gonna convince Americans that I'm right, and I'm gonna get the guns.Voters See Terrorism, Not Guns, As Main Issue In San Bernardino Attack

If the Democrats Went For It
It was not enough.
The way the Senate voted on the Rand proposal was much more informative.
House votes to tighten visa rules
Congress in general will be following the president's lead.
So, don't expect anything much.

Mostly
I have regarded President Obama as a self absorbed narcissist. He unwillingness to deal with Congress while heaping on them all of the blame, the constant me, me me, the statements like be happy and sit in the back of the bus.
After this question an answer session, I am convinced he is less than that.
No, he is much less that, he is a stupid asshole.
To cling to the description of him being a narcissist is to give him too much credit.
For all of his faux sensitivity, to make the statement in Paris, when he did, is amazing.

Targeting Hillary for Potential Treason
For setting up deals that have put Russia in control of the company Uranium One. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said...

I do not expect much of it.

Victims Fights for Right to Self Defense
A pragmatic person learns how to avoid previous problems.
Shayna Lopez-Rivas was raped and has been fighting for an expansion of Florida' Stand Your Ground laws. She wants the right to carry a legal firearm on her FSU campus.
In the different published articles on this topic, I find this woman, this victim, to be reasoned and strong willed.
Of course the linked article pays homage both sides of the argument, quotes are offered from relatives of the Virginia Tech tragedy. A major omissions from that was that the state had laws that prohibited firearms on public campuses.

"It's my right to self-defense,"
"It's my choice. That is my choice. I'm not advocating for other people who don't want firearms that they need firearms to protect themselves, but for me, I know for a fact that if I had a gun, I would not have been raped."Open carry, guns on campus bills pass FL Senate committees

In Gone With The Wind
There is a scene Gone With The Wind where a carpet bagger is telling former slaves about how they are all going to get 40 acres and a mule. Congress is pretty much that dude these days, liars, which makes them just like the President.

Recent Congressional Votes
The Senate and House will not be in session this week.
Recent Senate Votes:
EPA Existing Power Plant Rule Disapproval -- Passage Vote Passed (52-46, 2 Not Voting)
The Senate agreed to a joint resolution expressing disapproval of the rule submitted by the EPA concerning carbon emissions at existing power plants.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
Looks like a party line vote, which total means common sense for one side and bullshit for the other side. A real vote would be one that approves having EPA employees take lie detector tests while repeating the oath of office.
EPA New and Retrofitted Power Plant Rule Disapproval -- Passage Vote Passed (52-46, 2 Not Voting)
The Senate agreed to a joint resolution expressing disapproval of the rule submitted by the EPA concerning carbon emissions at new and retrofitted power plants.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
Expressing disapproval, with no fucking teeth. McConnell you are the leader of a pack of fucking pussies.
Recent House Votes:
Bank Mortgage Liability -- Passage Vote Passed (255-174, 4 Not Voting)
The bill creates a safe harbor from lawsuits for banks that originate non-qualified mortgages that do not comply with ability-to-repay requirements, as long as the bank retains the mortgage in its own portfolio.
Rep. David Scott voted YES
Feels like old new, rule seems pragmatic, basically if the bank owns its own poison that is the risk it chooses to take.
Auto Loans -- Passage Vote Passed (332-96, 5 Not Voting)
The bill nullifies 2013 guidance issued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) regarding fair lending practices for indirect auto lenders, after the CFPB determined that car loans provided through auto dealers were artificially high and discriminatory.
Rep. David Scott voted YES
A load agency takes risks extending loans, lending to borrowers that are more unlikely to repay the loan pay more. So no politicians are going to decide what is a fair vigorish? Watch the loans dry up and the car lots disappear.
Federal Reserve Overhaul -- Passage Vote Passed (241-185, 7 Not Voting)
The bill modifies Federal Reserve operations and oversight in an effort to make it more accountable, including by requiring the Fed to develop detailed strategies with set goals for conducting monetary policy that would be reviewed by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and requiring the Fed chairman to testify before Congress if GAO determines that the strategy no longer complies with bill requirements. It also provides for GAO audits of all Fed activities, including its deliberations over monetary policy. The legislation requires Fed to conduct cost-benefit analyses of all proposed rules and limits the Fed’s emergency lending powers.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
Can't let anybody see what is going on in there can we David? The vote made it through, maybe even the Senate will approve, but the President has things to hide, a veto would be certain. Many suspect there are problems have be hidden by the Fed.
Syrian and Iraqi Refugees -- Passage Vote Passed (289-137, 8 Not Voting)
The bill prohibits refugees from Syria or Iraq from being admitted into the United States unless the individual has had a comprehensive background check and the government, including the FBI and national intelligence director, certifies to Congress that he or she does not pose a threat.
Rep. David Scott voted YES
Thank you for that vote David. Was more than straight part line. Suspect that it is all for naught, the President will do whatever the hell he wants, including approving refugees as vetted when it is not humanly possible without time consuming research.
No, lying is much easier.

This seemed an amusing picture considering some of my recent travails.
If you are comfortable with being judged as dishonest, keep it up, I already think you are a bunch of spoiled brats. We can only judge you based on your behavior.

Rivalry Week THWG
A GT Grad walks into a bar. He goes up to the bartender and says "Hey, do you want to hear a funny joke about UGA."
The bartender says "Son, you see that guy over there, he is an all-american linebacker for UGA, the guy next to him, an all-american running back, and myself, a member of the 1980 Championship team. So do you really think that its a good idea to tell a joke about UGA here in this bar?"
The GT Grad answers " No, you are right. I don't want to have to explain the joke 5 times."

Minneapolis Men Join Isis
A mild mannered report on how a Muslim neighborhood in Minnesota was originally home for to two dozen ex-patriots, now ISIS members.
I find it interesting that the people interviewed were well spoken, articulate, men.
It would only be my extrapolation, but is seems logical that idle hands are for the devil's work.
That these communities resist assimilation, and huddle in close knit communities seems to exacerbate urban unemployment problems, leaving young men, without a career and searching for a purpose.
I am sorry that these people have come here looking for a better life only to feel like they belong only to the culture they left. That in itself is an argument against inviting more refugees.
Still, I am impressed with what is going on in Minneapolis, they are trying to improve cross cultural communication with exemplary role models.

Recent Congressional Votes
Revised Defense Authorization -- Passage Vote Agreed to (91-3, 6 Not Voting)
The Senate cleared legislation that authorizes $599 billion for the Pentagon and defense-related programs for fiscal 2016, $5 billion less than both the president's overall request and the original conference agreement. It provides $33 billion of the original $38 billion in added funds for defense, including $8 billion through the Overseas Contingency Operations account. The measure authorizes $715 million for Iraqi forces fighting the Islamic State, $406 million to train and equip Syrian opposition forces and $300 million for lethal weapons for Ukraine. It modifies the military retirement system, blocks the Pentagon from retiring the A-10 Warthog aircraft and authorizes $11 billion for the F-35 Fighter.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
Three dissenting votes.
A relatively small amount of money to train Syrians.
A relatively small amount of money to weapons to Ukraine.
Blocking a recommended obsolescence.
Military-Construction-VA Appropriations -- Passage Vote Passed (93-0, 7 Not Voting)
The Senate passed an amended version of the bill that funds veterans’ health programs and military bases. The measure, which contains nearly $80 billion in discretionary funding, also includes language that prohibits transfers from Guantanamo Bay to the U.S. homeland and a ban on another round of base closures.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
No dissenting votes, and a statement that Guantanamo prisoners cannot be brought onto US soil.
Surface Transportation Reauthorization -- Cloture Vote Agreed to (82-7, 11 Not Voting)
The Senate agreed to create a conference committee with the House concerning legislation that reauthorizes surface transportation programs for six years.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted NO
An agreement to stop talking about creating a committee for study of a bill to spend money on roads.
Very often these bills are full of pork for home districts, this explains the nearly unanimous vote.
Have no idea what our junior senator's objection was, probably that he wasn't getting a new road built in south Georgia.
Upcoming Votes:
Transportation-HUD Appropriations - HR2577
The bill funds the departments of Transportation and Housing and Urban Development. The measure, which contains nearly $56 billion in discretionary funding, also provides funding for such items as Amtrak and Section 8 housing vouchers.
Combining Amtrak and HUD appropriations, government created sinkholes.
Auto Loans - HR1737
The bill nullifies the 2013 guidance issued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) regarding fair lending practices for indirect auto lenders, after the CFPB determined that car loans provided through auto dealers were artificially high and discriminatory.
Legislation that will no deter car salesmen or automakers from screwing customers.
Bank Mortgage Liability - HR1210
The bill creates a safe harbor from lawsuits for banks that originate non-qualified mortgages that do not comply with ability-to-repay requirements, as long as the bank retains the mortgage in its own portfolio.
I guess if they are hanging on to the risk, they are the ones that stand to lose,
Federal Reserve Overhaul - HR3189
The bill modifies Federal Reserve operations and oversight in an effort to make it more accountable, including by requiring the Fed to develop detailed strategies with set goals for conducting monetary policy that would be reviewed by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and requiring the Fed chairman to testify before Congress if GAO determines that the strategy no longer complies with bill requirements. It also provides for GAO audits of all Fed activities, including its deliberations over monetary policy. The legislation requires the Fed to conduct cost-benefit analyses of all proposed rules and limits the Fed’s emergency lending powers.
On the way home last night, I heard the news blurb where a politician suggested that making the inner workings of the Federal Reserve a bad idea.
It is universally understood that the amount of debt the country really has is much greater than reported. And that the Fed has played games with the public numbers, including the discount rate at the behest of Presidents, probably going all the way back to Woodrow Wilson.
These fights go all the way back to the 1st and 2nd Banks of the United States, and a huge campaign issue for Andrew Jackson, widely regarded as one of the greatest populist presidents.
This bank was created, on a public level to govern (lessen) the wide swings in monetary value, on an internal level, to create a cheap credit source accessible only to high level borrowers. It is an expression of a fixed game.

Liberal Self Loathing
Have said it before, the American liberal psyche, for white folks not in the ruling class, is based on, built upon, self loathing.
This article is a perfect expression of that.
The Campus Reform web site titled.....
Statements about the conference are conceptual and pretty narrow in scope, there is little description of the conference machinations....
First of all, if I found out that me son was taking a class focused on feelings, and having no preparatory value to a career, there would be an impact statement made making clear that if you waste your time and my money on that bullshit, you might as well go ahead and get a job right now, because the money is cut off.
Why in the world would a person spend time and money on something that teaches its participants ways to feel guilty about how they were born. There is enough hate and self loathing in the world without creating new cases out of thin air.
Total crap it is.
This is not intended to be dumping on the web site, which for the most part seems to be reporting the campus news.

Statements about the conference are conceptual and pretty narrow in scope, there is little description of the conference machinations....
Other papers offered by the center include....
- “recognize and understand white privilege from an individual experience”
- “conceptualize and articulate whiteness from a personal and systematic lense as well as the impact of white privilege on the UVM community and beyond.”
- “What does it mean to be white?”
- “How does whiteness impact you?”
This is not the first such conference, the same article reports a precedent conference held at Mount St. Mary’s in Los Angeles California.
- "The Invention of the White Race,"
- "White Privilege, Male Privilege in Race, Class, Gender,"
- "The Feminist Classroom,"
- "The Abolition of Whiteness."

WWII Veterans Passes
This past weekend I had the honor to stand in a Patriot Guard Rider flag-line for a departed veteran of WWII.
Mr. C. served for three years in the US Navy during the war, graduated from UGA, earned a post-grad degree at Northwestern a law degree from Atlanta Law School. e and his bride formed a strong and enduring family. The law led to a position as a judge. He was 99 years old.
These were brave men to risk their lives for our country.
Standing in line for a couple of hours seems a small way to honor a man.

Mindless Award Fun
Yesterday morning, I saw a post on my Facebook, by a 18 year old young man stating that compared to his mother that had raised three sons, without the help of a father, Caitlyn Jenner had no rightful claim on being woman of the year. This young man, for whom I have great respect, has proper perspective. He sees a woman who struggles on behalf of others getting little recognition while a man receives false acclaim and spends his hours fussing over how his children are going to have to deal with it. One parent sacrifices for her children, another parent sacrifices upon his children.
It sees that many people agree, at least and the places where I read.
No picture of the revised man will be shown, after all, that is exactly what what he desires, attention.
Bruce Jenner has the right to do what he wants with his body, as long as he doesn't endanger others or expect the public to pay for it, I am fine with it. His choice should not to be held out as a symbol of achievement, when it is in reality, an expression of mental illness. The condition Mr. Jenner has is real, no doubt the source of great mental anguish, in no way is this trivial
What he is not, is a woman, he is a man altered to look like a woman.
Simple as that.
Giving the man an award for being Woman of the Year, is akin to giving a freshly elected politician the Nobel Peace Prize before having served in elected role. These are better characterized as political statements than awards.
In the end they have trivialized their own dominion.
Not unlike Mr. Jenner has done to himself.
For this Glamour Magazine wind the long withheld Davis Cup aka Annus Rectum Award, aka AR Award.

Hillary Clinton Has Few Fans in the Military
On the bright side she is more trustworthy than Congress.
Rasmussen Poll: Hillary Clinton Has Few Fans in the Military
This is a no thought required conclusion for anyone associated with military personnel.
That said I have a relative who worked for Bush 43 and he came out for Obama. Haven't had a since to speak to him since 2009. I'm guessing his outlook has changed.
I remember officers leaving the forces in droves during the first Clinton administration. There is no doubt that this, if it comes to pass, would be more anti-military than the first, surpassed only by the current.

Those Pesky Second Ammendment Supporters
Clear is the difference between those who use observed evidence when forming decisions and those that that are unwaveringly guided by lofty principles.
For me those principals are impeded by human choice and weakly formed principles.

"Waters of the United States" Definition -- Passage Vote Failed (57-41, 2 Not Voting)
The Senate rejected a motion to invoke cloture on the McConnell, R-Ky., motion to proceed to the bill that would require the Obama administration to revisit its rule updating federal regulation of streams and wetlands.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
Voting with the man, Mitch the Bitch, wants to stop talking about something that is a waste of time. Georgia Senators agree, as I am inclined. A vote against suggests something nefarious.
"Waters of the United States" Rule Disapproval -- Passage Vote Passed (53-44, 3 Not Voting)
The Senate agreed to a joint resolution expressing disapproval of the rule submitted by the Army Corps of Engineers and the EPA relating to the definition of "waters of the United States" and what bodies of water are subject to federal regulation.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
Stopping executive government over reach, or at least making a show of it.
Military-Construction-VA Appropriations – Motion to Proceed Vote Agreed to (93-0, 7 Not Voting)
The Senate agreed to a motion to invoke cloture on the McConnell, R-Ky., motion to proceed to the bill that funds veterans' health programs and military bases. The measure, which contains nearly $80 billion in discretionary funding, also includes language that prohibits transfers from Guantanamo Bay to the U.S. homeland and a ban on another round of base closures.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
Have to admit that I like the little bit about stopping the transfer of prisoners. That said, I don't think that it will stop our omnipotent President.
Revised Defense Authorization -- Passage Vote Passed (370-58, 5 Not Voting)
The House agreed to legislation that authorizes $599 billion for the Pentagon and defense-related programs for fiscal 2016, $5 billion less than both the president's overall request and the original conference agreement.
Rep. David Scott voted YES
Have to admit that David Scott has been better on this stuff of late.
Surface Transportation Reauthorization -- Passage Vote Passed (363-64, 6 Not Voting)
The House passed legislation that reauthorizes surface transportation programs for six years, with policy provisions including those that would replace the Surface Transportation Program with a block grant program, create a new grant program for nationally significant freight and highway projects, and make a number of changes to the environmental review process. It also would liquidate the Federal Reserve's surplus funds and redirect that money to the General Fund. Future money that would have been deposited in the funds would also be deposited in the General Fund. The more than $325 billion, six-year surface transportation reauthorization package also contains Senate amendments that offset to cover Highway Trust Fund shortfalls for three years and a reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank. Efforts to fully fund all six years of the reauthorization are expected to be made in conference with the Senate.
Rep. David Scott voted YES
Bookkeeping bullshit, basically spending money.
Revised Defense Authorization - S.1356
The bill authorizes $599 billion for the Pentagon and defense-related programs for fiscal 2016, $5 billion less than both the president's overall request and the original conference agreement. It provides $33 billion of the original $38 billion in added funds for defense, including $8 billion through the Overseas Contingency Operations account. It modifies the military retirement system, blocks the Pentagon from retiring the A-10 Warthog aircraft and authorizes $11 billion for the F-35 Fighter.
I do not like it very much when the Congress forces the Pentagon to continue buying equipment they have recommended against. That sort of logic leads manufacturers to be less than motivated on restraining cost. The politicians keep the expenditures up because they don't want to lose votes. Now there might be some backhand crap going on her where the Pentagon is trying to look like they are working to save money while simultaneously getting their guys to torpedo the cut. Who knows what to believe. What I know is that the Warthog has an air-frame that is very old in design, that it can be outclassed seems likely. I say call them on their bluff, cut it and appraise the reaction.
The bill funds veterans' health programs and military bases. The measure, which contains nearly $80 billion in discretionary funding, also includes language that prohibits transfers from Guantanamo Bay to the U.S. homeland and a ban on another round of base closures.
If those prisoners come into the the continental borders of the United States. There will be a shit-storm of problems that result. Count on an endless line of lawyers trying to make money defending prisoners that ought to be lined up and shot. No doubt that if they were harmless, they would be free already.

Stick It
I hope these aren't just big words coming out of a newly elected governor.
Could not agree more with what he has to say, but it is a lot tougher to remain pure when there are all of those carrots and sticks out there in the Federal government.
Matt Bevin Tells the EPA to Stick It
Frankly, I wouldn't put it past our President to apply a full court press, on both sides of the law, to achieve his green goals. The President is wrong, he is myopically focused on carbon emission minimization. The left does not want the "global warming" debate to continue because they keep loosing on the facts. The liberal political class sees this as the vehicle to taxes without borders.
Listened to Bevin before the election with Mark Levin, the Republican establishment hates him because he dented Mitch McConnell, as if the bitch didn't need denting.

Republican Budget Abdication
This is Senate voting record on the last budget proposal. Led by the Republican majority leader McConnell and followed by 15 men who chose ignore the mandate put to them in the last two elections. Notice the unanimous voting block of Democrats.
My guys got it right, but I have a sneaky suspicion that many of the Republican NAYs were wishful YEAs voting with coverage of the Senators who could afford the risk, on the way out or feel like they have the strength to withstand pissed off voters.
During Bush 43 tenure the Congress got out of hand and the Republicans lost the Congress because they spent more than the Democrats. It is going to happen again, Democrats vote as a block, Republicans vote with emotion. Right now that emotion is ANGER.

Gadsden Flag
I've bought a patch like this for my motorcycle riding leather vest.
The bride hates it but its going on anyway.
It speaks to me on two levels:
- As intended, the government should not trample the rights of the people
- Don't leave your tire tread marks on me or my motorcycle.

Congress.org presents: MEGAVOTE for October 26, 2015 and Georgia's 13th Congressional District:
Recent Congressional Votes
"Sanctuary Cities" -- Cloture Vote Failed (54-45, 1 Not Voting)
The Senate rejected a motion to invoke cloture on the McConnell, R-Ky., motion to proceed to the bill that would withhold federal funds from cities and jurisdictions that do not comply with certain federal immigration laws. The measure would also set sentencing requirements for individuals who repeatedly re-enter the United States illegally after deportation.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
Georgia's two Senator voted with McConnell while some Republicans left the coop and voted with the Democrats. They still wanted to talk about the bill. Everything McConnell has done with regards to immigration has been wrong so I am not sure what the issue is here. My real issue with this is the concept that we have a Federal government and Department of Justice that complete ignores the law, we now live in a socialistic oligarchy.
Cyber-security Information Sharing -- Cloture Vote Agreed to (83-14, 3 Not Voting)
The Senate agreed to the McConnell, R-Ky., motion to invoke cloture (thus limiting debate) on the Burr, R-N.C., substitute amendment to the bill that would direct the federal government to develop procedures to facilitate information sharing, and would authorize the voluntary sharing and receipt of a cyber-security threat and operation of defensive measures by private entities.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
On this Georgia's two Senator voted with McConnell and the majority, closing discussion. The real issue for citizens is what they deem to be appropriate defensive measures, because that usually means they feel it necessary to infringe on citizens rights.
Recent House Votes:
Debt Prevention -- Passage Vote Passed (235-194, 5 Not Voting)
The House passed legislation that allows the Treasury Department, once the statutory debt limit is reached, to continue borrowing above that limit in order to pay the principal and interest on both government debt held by the public as it comes due and on obligations held by the Social Security trust fund.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
Callous politics going on here, the President has obtained the upper hand in fiscal negotiation because, primarily, the Republicans have shown their cards, are unwilling to risk closing the government. This even tough recent pols suggest that 56% of voters have concluded that government closures might be needed. David Scott on this topic if voting to prolong the opportunity to torture Republicans with their own fecklessness.
District of Columbia Opportunity Scholarship Program Reauthorization -- Passage Vote Passed (240-191, 3 Not Voting)
The House passed a bill that reauthorizes the Scholarships for Opportunity and Results program for five years, through fiscal 2021. It is a federally funded program under which eligible students in Washington, D.C., can receive vouchers to attend private schools and is the nation's only federally funded private school voucher program.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
Voting the party line with the NEA union, despite the fact that a discontinuation of the program would hurt most poor black Democrats. Makes no sense at all, but that politics. If the man says David we'll support with money if you support propping up our shitty teacher's union, the deal is locked in stone no matter how freaking stupid.
National Strategic and Critical Minerals Production -- Passage Vote Passed (254-177, 3 Not Voting)
The House passed legislation that reclassifies certain mining operations as "infrastructure projects" in order to allow the permitting for mining on federal lands to be conducted under a streamlined permitting process created for infrastructure projects by a 2012 presidential order.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
Looks like this was David's week to be a dumb ass Democrat. Leadership says, resist all usage of Federal lands for business, that's off limits, David does the Nazi salute and there you have it.
Health Care Reconciliation -- Passage Vote Passed (240-189, 5 Not Voting)
The House passed a bill that repeals key elements of the 2010 health care overhaul law including the individual and employer mandates and the medical device and "Cadillac" taxes, and it blocks for one year federal funding for Planned Parenthood.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
Little surprise here, this is the Democrats pet project. In two years it will belong to the Republicans and then we'll see how much they really dislike government control of the medical industry. My guess is the system wont change is trajectory much, shit begets shit.
Upcoming Votes:
Cyber-security Information Sharing - S754
The measure would direct the federal government to develop procedures to facilitate information sharing, and it would authorize the voluntary sharing and receipt of a cyber-security threat and operation of defensive measures by private entities.
The government is not capable of leading this issue, but they have to try.
Retail Investor Protection - HR1090
The bill would prohibit the Labor Department from implementing a final rule on fiduciary standards for retirement investment advisers until after the Securities and Exchange Commission conducts a study and issues a final rule setting standards of conduct for broker-dealers.
Let me guess, David Scott ain't voting for this.

Gender Norms?
I don't know about you folks, but when the government begins to insert itself onto the manner in which boys and girls grow up, I become frightened. How men should identify and project themselves is a private matter of expression and outside of the boundaries set by the Constitution.
The Constitution is clearly pointed at protection of the people from the government m. For the government to be trying to change the essence of what the culture is does not reflect what the culture wants or even deserves.
It is for the people, not to shape the people.
Federal Study Seeks ‘Gender Norms Change’
Besides what people are to become is the duty and responsibility of parents not the government. To instruct behavior should be the domain of anybody but the government.
Forget the damned government village, it is run by idiots.
In my world the parents teach the children, some succeed, some don't.

All I Can Say Is
Thank heavens for the Atlantic Ocean.
With that ocean barrier, none of these folks can walk here, few can float over on a raft.
Germany: Asylum Seekers Make Demands
Of course, despite overwhelming public sentiment against, the President and his ilk will make efforts to take in as many as possible. This I cannot understand the motivation for, to embrace refugees, in the name of diversity, a people who have no interest in integrating to western culture.
The Muslim travelling hoard are the weak minded rejects of their culture, fleeing, seeking for something better, yet have the audacity to make demands of benefactors whom they obviously regard as even less deserving than any follower of Allah.
The Europeans welcoming these refugees, are not the weak culture in this equation, they not logical in pointed in the expected social outcome, but are clearly more benevolent.
The people of United States should struggle to stall this immigration, waiting on the event(s) that will make it clear the harm that comes with this sort narrow minded socialist outreach.
Something I fear is that the proponents of our own open door policy might learn some of the heavy handed tactics being used in Europe.

A Determined President Obama Vetoes the Defense Policy Bill
Comment by Edward Crommie on President Obama vetoed the defense policy bill. Now what?
Mr. Crommie has written a calm editorial about how the President has exercised the executive privilege to veto. The thrust being that the cap agreement for equal cuts between defense and discretionary spending has the Senate in a box. They have become timid and yielding.
Good article.

Congress.org presents MEGAVOTE for October 13, 2015, for Georgia's 13th Congressional District.
Recent Congressional Votes
Recent Senate Votes:
Fiscal 2016 Defense Authorization -- Adoption, Vote Agreed to (70-27, 3 Not Voting)
The Senate agreed to the conference report to accompany the bill that would reauthorize appropriations for fiscal year 2016 for military activities of the Department of Defense and for military construction, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted YES
Sen. David Perdue voted YES
Senators spending money, the only damned thing they know how to do better than fucking over voters. Neither of you guys is ever going to see another dollar or vote from me.
Fiscal 2016 Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations -- Cloture Vote Rejected (49-47, 4 Not Voting)
The Senate rejected a motion to invoke cloture on the McConnell, R-Ky., motion to proceed to the bill that would provide $35.4 billion in discretionary funding in fiscal 2016 for the Energy Department, the Army Corps of Engineers, the Interior Department's Bureau of Reclamation and several regional authorities.
Sen. Johnny Isakson voted NO
Sen. David Perdue voted NO
Who the hell knows what is right an wrong anymore, this looks like a close vote that went against McConnell. That in my observation means that McConnell did not want want it anyway.
Recent House Votes:
Establishing a Select Investigative Panel Under the House Energy and Commerce Committee--Adoption Vote Passed (242-184, 8 Not Voting)
The House adopted a resolution which created the Select Investigative Panel on Abortion and Fetal Tissue Donation under the House Energy and Commerce Committee. This select panel will be allowed to investigate and report on all issues related to medical procedures and practices involving fetal tissue donation and procurement, federal funding and support for abortion providers, and late-term abortions.
Rep. David Scott voted NO
Politicians are not the people that should be doing this investigation. There is enough hyperbole on both sides to be certain that whatever is on the television will be mostly about politics and little about the truth. The Department of Justice should be on this, or perhaps a third party. But it will not, it will be a circus and not solve a thing.
Home-buyers Assistance Act Passage Vote Passed (303-121, 10 Not Voting)
The House passed legislation which effectively delays until Feb. 1, 2016, implementation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's integrated rules regarding lender disclosures to consumers applying for home mortgage loans, prohibiting enforcement of the rules and lawsuits against lenders until then as long as the lender makes a good-faith effort to comply with the rules.
Rep. David Scott voted YES
The banks could do a better job of this all by themselves, they are the one motivated to grant loans to people who can afford to repay. When politicians become involved it becomes about forcing (motivating) banks to extend loans in a more risky manner. If the government wants to help folks buy homes, they should be looking at grants, not pre-assigning co-conspirators (fall guys).
Native American Energy Act Passage Vote Passed (254-173, 7 Not Voting)
The House passed a bill that provides for the expedited review and consideration of energy projects on Native American lands, and it limits participation in required environmental reviews of such projects and requires that judicial reviews of all energy projects involving Indian tribes be considered by the D.C. District and Circuit courts.
Rep. David Scott voted NO

Who the hell knows what is right an wrong anymore, this looks like a close vote that went against McConnell. That in my observation means that McConnell did not want want it anyway.
